Job Description

Complete technical and commercial responsibility for projects assigned including order handling, design and rendering necessary assistance to the projection/sales groups.

Preparation of schematic drawings, wiring tables, fabrication drawings, etc.

Discussions with clients, obtaining approval for drawings submitted, etc.

Co-ordinate with other project functions.

Technical support to project managers.

Preparation of design documents.

Review of sub-suppliers documentation.

Progress reporting.

Job Specification

Support for local manufacturing wherever applicable.

Preparation of all drawings including as-built drawing for projects.

Provide field support to commissioning engineers.

Use the assigned Associate Engineer/Senior Draughtsman for Preparation of Design Documents/drawings.

+ Advise on **high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) power supply systems** , ensuring safe and efficient transmission for railway operations.
+ Support the design and implementation of **traction power substations (TPS)** , including rectifiers, transformers, and switchgear for metro and rail networks.
+ Evaluate **power distribution for rail signaling, communications, and station auxiliary power systems** .
+ Ensure integration of **SCADA and BMS** for remote monitoring and control of traction power and substations.
+ Conduct **load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and grounding system design** for rail and metro networks.
+ Provide guidance on **emergency power supply and redundancy systems** for uninterrupted rail operations.
+ Work closely with **transport authorities, EPC contractors, and rail operators** to ensure seamless implementation of power distribution solutions.
+ Ensure compliance with **international railway power standards** , including EN 50163, IEC 61850, and local rail authority requirements.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ BEng / BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent
+ Minimum of 20 years experience
+ Railway, Transportation, Metro Experience.
+ Design, PM, experience across lifecycle
