Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join Unconventional Resources Project Management & Technical Services Department.

Unconventional Resources Department is responsible for engineering procurement and construction of major Unconventional Gas facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The candidate’s primary role is to oversee the Engineering Design (FEED & Detailed Design) and construction activities of Unconventional Resources projects. This includes reviewing various design packages, coordinating with Aramco’s stakeholders, and providing technical support for construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

• Support the projects in Jafurah Project.
• Mentor and motivate Saudi Engineers.
• Ensures adherence to company procedures, specifications and guidelines.
• Review and approval of all vendor documents, drawings.
• Ensure the timely review of all engineering deliverables.
• Close interaction within all discipline Members to resolve any issues during engineering and construction phases.
• Coordinate activities and resolve issues among contractors and other parties to allow construction activities to progress according to plan and final mechanical completion.

Minimum Requirements

• As the successful candidate is you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program/ An advanced degree is along with professional certification .
• Minimum of 10 years as Project Engineer on design projects including Concept, FEED, Detailed Design and Construction.
• Related work Experience and Training, educational background, Technical and soft skills and represents a professional Personality.
• Professional certification by NCEES, PMI, or a professional engineering board is .
• You will have extensive project management knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas field to verify and direct FEED/Detail Design packages.
• You will have demonstrable experience in handling EPC phases (engineering, material procurement, Construction management of hydrocarbon facilities).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil/Structural Project Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia-Dhahran. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry and be responsible for overseeing the structural design and construction aspects of various projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate all civil and structural engineering activities for oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia-Dhahran.
2. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of structural engineering plans and specifications.
3. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met.
5. Review and approve civil and structural engineering drawings and documents.
6. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
7. Monitor project progress, budget, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
8. Address any engineering-related issues and recommend solutions to optimize project performance.

Key requirements:

1. At least a 4 year degree in an engineering discipline.
2. Proven experience in project management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Performs activities including but not limited to:

• Understanding CPDEP and project management practices and applying them to assigned projects.
• Serving as the single point of contact for the projects to all stakeholders.
• Preparing and maintaining key project documents: project frames, scopes, estimates, schedules, AFDs, AFEs, and project execution plans.
• Preparing and presenting projects at Plant GRT review.
• Obtaining necessary approvals to progress projects.
• Ensuring all team activities and decisions support the project’s objectives and priorities.
• Monitoring project document review and approval processes.
• Providing leadership, input, review, and approval of project contract strategies.
• Managing interfaces with other organizations.
• Controlling project costs and schedules.
• Preparing and issuing weekly and monthly reports to stakeholders.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• Develop project opportunities mainly within Oil & Gas/Chemical / Power/ Petrochemical / Industry Sectors.
• Develop appropriate targeting plans for key EPC in the region.
• Using the Account Management tools build relationships with key clients and targets.
• Promote and develop the John Crane Products.
• Check for regular project update within the data base made available and from the market.
• Manage project funnel and associated update locally/regionally/internationally.
• Work closely with the End User Sales Team regularly to acquire project intelligence and maximize wins.
• Develop and implement a structured approach to project business development, maintaining the relationship with EPC contractors & OEM’s in the region.
• Establish John Crane as the preferred supplier for the entire product portfolio into the sectors.
