Job Description
Assists pharmacists in th epreparation and distribution of drugs, medicaltion and intravenous admixtures.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Assists pharmacist in filling pharmacy requisitions, cassette fillings, and in maintaining records.
2. Assists with preparation of sterile products
3. Pre-package tablets and capsules using an automatic unit dose or tablets. capsules counting machine. Label the pre-packaged products and complete appropriate records
4. Assists in the manufacture of capsules.
5.Operate manufacturing equipment.
6.Follow worksheet to prepare products.
7.Distributes filled orders to nursing unite or other departments, as required.
8.Maintains proper inventory of drugs and supplies. Monitor expiration dates.
9.Maintains a clean working environment.
10.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
11.Participates in self and other's education, training an d development, as applicable.
**Education**:
Diploma in Pharmacy Technician/ Assistant is required.
**Experience Required**:
Two (2) years of related experience, or completion of one (1) year of Saudi Career Development Program (SCDP) is required.
