4. Identifies and reviews departments' measures of performance and output, and develops and recommends activity monitoring system for departments.
5. Conducts work analysis and measurement studies, time and motion studies, work methods analysis, and/or productivity and utilization measurements in Hospital departments. Reviews, develops and designs new work methods, systems, and procedures.
6. Analyses existing and new operations and departmental units with regard to administrative organization, functional assignment of work, size and composition of work groups, space and equipment allocations. Evaluates capital investments in equipment and facilities, as directed. Analyses such investments in terms of space and resource utilization.
8. Prepares periodic accomplishment reports, as well as Internal Policies and Procedures for the Section.
9. Attends relevant committee meetings as assigned.
10. Maintains knowledge on current trends in specialty and makes recommendations for continuous improvement. Lends technical experience and support in specialty to all entities within Organization Development Division and to other areas within the Hospital as required.
11. Conducts research and participates in the analysis, design, and development of the Hospital's integrated systems of staff, material, information, space, equipment and energy. Consults with concerned department heads for data required in studies.
**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing & Systems Engineering or other related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
Five (5) years with Master’s or seven (7) years with Bachelor’s Degree of professional Industrial Engineering experience, in operations research and/or analytical studies of staffing, methods, systems and procedures, in a hospital setting or a large organization is required.
