We are seeking an experienced Process Simulation and Modeling Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence team under the Downstream Reliability Solutions Department (RSD). Reliability Solutions Department (RSD) provides engineering support to Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing wholly owned and affiliates’ facilities (Refining, NGL Processing, and Petrochemicals). This includes reliability, inspection, corrosion management, static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, instrumentation and control support.

Your primary role as a Process Simulation & modeling expert is to provide expert guidance and support to de-bottleneck process operations and optimize through process simulation technologies. You will lead improvement initiatives for all operating departments within the Global Manufacturing Portfolio.

• Streamline Process Simulation & Optimization objectives in alignment with corporate objectives and develop programs, processes, and best practices.
• Monitor relevant KPIs to improve Process Simulation and modeling performance.
• Perform process simulations and modeling using specialized software tools to analyze plants’ processes and optimize their performance.
• Develop and maintain thermodynamic models and mathematical equations that accurately represent the behavior of various processes.
• Identify areas for process improvements and propose modifications or optimizations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, or meet regulatory requirements.
• Conduct performance improvement feasibility studies to increase yields, and operational efficiency of the company.
• Analyze chronic problems and debottleneck complex models to improve process operations and economic benefits.
• Conduct safety assessments to evaluate the impact of potential process changes or plant modifications.
• Lead technical sessions such as the design review, model review, and commissioning.
• Provide subject matter expertise to operating facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams by consulting, providing awareness sessions, and participating and leading technical exchanges and conferences.
• Review standards and General Instructions on behalf of the Global Manufacturing Excellence departments and act as leading SME.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather data and inputs required for the simulations and modeling activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate simulation results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other engineers and researchers and vendors to contribute to the development of new simulation software tools, methodologies, and techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in process simulation and modeling.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• 15 years of experience in Process Simulation and Modeling technologies is required. Twenty years of experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate expertise in process engineering and flowsheet-based processes simulation.
• Comprehensive understanding of refinery facilities, feedstock/product movements, margins, giveaways, process yields, and mass and energy balances.
• Demonstrate familiarity with international standards and specifications for advanced process control process modeling.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of advanced process solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership skills to effectively manage technical discussions and guide technical teams.

Job Purpose:

The RM Optimization Analyst is responsible for facilitating and developing the roadmap that guides the revenue generation efforts over a set time frame by ensuring the analytical process is developed to plan the network in an efficient way as well Capacity Management and utilization, pro-active pricing changes with coordination and communications with related departments.

Job Accounatbilities:

• Ensure that the highest possible margins are achieved on freighter and passenger flights.
• Maintain and implement advanced, yield management techniques, and forecasting models to maximize revenue generation based on available capacities and Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Recommend and implement best-in-class technologies that support data-driven decision-making in revenue management.
• Collaborate with Manager RM to define and execute long-term revenue management strategies in line with organizational goals.
• Contribute to developing best practices and methodologies within the revenue management function.
• Rolling forecast, long terms optimization and budget sitting.
• Recommend an optimal freighter operation plan, including re-route, extra sector operations, to maximize revenue opportunities as well as flight cancellation to protect company bottom-line.
• Monitor and adjust Ad hoc rate structures based on market demand, cargo capacity, and competitor pricing.
• Review overbooking levels regarding latest trend of booking cancellation, no-shows, demand pickup etc. in/outbound KSA flights.
• To project weekly empty capacity and marketing initiatives to promote available capacity to ensure utilization.
• Provide effective evaluation of capacity requests with alternatives.
• Ensure release of Flight Booking List to Hub Operations team within agreed deadlines.
• Impose effective offload & re-booking management to maintain a high FAB for SACC.
• Evaluate and enhance existing revenue management systems and tools to implement new technologies and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy in revenue optimization efforts.
• Execute Post Flight Analysis against forecasting to have a proper offload management along with capacity management as well as, ensure high yield on the flight.
• Managing AWB's flow and monitor on-time action in term of ad-hoc pricing, space confirmation requests.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field.
• A minimum of 0 – 4 years of experience in the same or similar field.
