Our client is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. The company is a leading producer and distributor of high-quality, eco-friendly, reusable non-woven fabric bags, specializing in branded eco-packaging for supermarkets, footwear, fashion retailers, and corporate promotions.

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating financial information as well as conducting strategic analyses and reporting. This will include profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, and more. Your primary aim will be to influence decision-making within the organization and spearhead cross-business initiatives.

• Overseeing cash flow planning and management to ensure liquidity, and implementing strategies to optimize working capital.
• Collaborating with business units to develop annual budgets and reporting on performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure proper cut-offs and to prevent and detect accounting errors on a timely basis.
• Overseeing tracking of receivables to ensure timely collection of cash & payables to ensure payment of bills to suppliers.
• Controlling accounting cycle and recording all transactions such as fixed assets depreciation, adjusting entries, prepaid & provisions, inter-company reconciliations, and periodic and month-end reconciliation entries.
• Producing monthly, timely Financial and Management reports per management requirements.
• Reviewing monthly financial reports for all associations and reviewing tax reports, ensuring adherence to financial laws and regulations.

A new role has been created for a Finance Manager to safeguard the company’s assets and to effectively manage all financial analysis, budgeting and reporting in Saudi Arabia. The Finance Manager’s responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring a transparent financial analysis and budgeting system is in place and managed effectively
2. Maintain control of the financial reporting and statements
3. Adhering to internal and external audit requirements
4. Assessing the banking operations from the company side
5. Interaction with all departments on a daily basis as a custodian of the business
6. Interaction with regional head office
7. Adopt a hands-on approach with flexibility to carry out daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are met

The minimum requirements for this role include:

1. Qualified accountant – CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
2. Fluency in Arabic and English
3. Minimum 5 years as senior manager in finance
4. Experience of using SAP
5. Exceptional management skills, team building and management reporting skills
6. Must be on 1 month notice or less
7. Strong personality and high level of confidence
8. FMCG background would be beneficial.

Role positioning and objectives

The role is responsible for helping corporate finance manager with financial tasks, including activities related to treasury & compliance. They are responsible for end to end cashflow forecasting, finance facilities management and internal processes audit.

Reports to: Finance Controller MEC

Geographic Scope: Saudi Arabia

• Responsible for Cash Liquidity management.
• Responsible for managing banking relations.
• Responsible for maintaining financial facilities as per operational requirements.
• Ensuring compliance of processes implemented through out the company.
• Carrying out internal audits for internal procedures.
• Taking lead on internal governance compliance.
• Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of a company.
• Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business.
• Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets.
• Supervising month-end processes related to treasury.
• Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department.
• Providing training to staff members regarding financial processes.

• Experienced Chartered Accountant – ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA or any related qualification.
• Accreditation from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
• 3+ years of experience in finance function, including accounting, audit, and financial management.
• A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements.
• Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial planning software such as Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• The ability to work in a team setting.
