• Well-versed with programming languages of Elapt & Elcam used for programming CNC Wire Cut machines.
• Knowledge of drawing profiles of EPDM & PVC gaskets, including sample drawing dimensions using AutoCAD (latest version) and drafting tables.
• Familiar with fabrication of die parts using lathe, drilling, and hex cutting machines.
• Not more than 40 years old.

Role Purpose:

Optimum programming for CNC punching machines and bending machines, As required operating the machines and train the new operators maintaining the quality, productivity, and cost optimization targets.

Key Accountabilities

Operation

• Programing of CNC sheet metal punching and bending M/Cs
• Ensure machines usage is optimized and reduce idle time of CNC sheet metal punching and bending M/Cs
• Use the programming skills to operate busbar bending and punching machines as required

Productivity& Quality

• Achieving the OEE target and minimize scrap
• Ensuring the standard work are understood by the operators and personnel target provided.

Maintenance

• Responsible for the daily maintenance of the M/C
• Coordinate with the maintenance department for the monthly and preventive maintenance.

Planning

• Manage the fabrication plan to meet the scheduled dates.
• Adhering to the production plan, coordinating between the Fabrication sub processes.

Training

• Development and training for the fabrication team

House Keeping

• Ensure the 5S auditing schedule with the checklist.
• Ensure the rectification of the 5S audit findings.

Safety

• Ensure all the safety requirements are implemented as per the process’s requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2 years ITI or Mechanical Diploma, CNC programming formal training or on job training required
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in CNC sheet metal/copper punching and bending machines. Preferred experience with Trumpf machines and Trumpf TOP software
• Strong knowledge of tool selection, clearance settings, and sheet metal quality defects

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and other programming languages.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines, tooling, and programming, while performing routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including Wire EDM machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance machining processes and efficiency, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in machining is preferred, with at least 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Proven experience as a CNC machinist and programmer, including specific expertise in Wire EDM drilling and CMM.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code); familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot programming and machining issues optimally.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication skills to coordinate effectively.
• Demonstrates a commitment to precision and quality in all aspects of machining and programming work.
