Job Description:

Job Summary

The SAP Finance (FICO) Expert is responsible for leading the delivery of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions across large-scale projects. This includes managing end-to-end implementations, system optimizations, and support for core finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, controlling, and profit center management.

The role requires hands-on configuration experience, strong knowledge of integration with other modules, and the ability to translate finance business requirements into system solutions.

The candidate will engage directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams to provide expert guidance, lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business and statutory requirements. Experience in S/4HANA Finance is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FICO solution design and implementation across project lifecycles

• Gather and analyze business requirements for finance and controlling processes

• Configure SAP FICO modules including FI-GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, and CO-PA

• Support integration with SD, MM, PS, and Treasury modules

• Manage data migration, reconciliation, and cutover for financial objects

• Coordinate testing, validation, and user training activities

• Provide expert advice on local statutory and tax compliance (e.g., VAT, WHT)

• Ensure delivery of high-quality documentation and process mapping

• Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements

• Monitor SAP updates and manage impact of release changes

• Drive post-go-live support and system stabilization

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, or Information Systems

• SAP certification in Financial Accounting and/or Management Accounting

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus

• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred

Experience

• 8–12 years of SAP FICO experience, with a focus on solution delivery

• At least 2 years in a managerial or lead consultant role

• Experience in full-cycle SAP FICO implementations in complex environments

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, etc.)

• Familiarity with local compliance and statutory reporting requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong configuration skills across all FICO sub-modules

• Understanding of end-to-end financial business processes

• Experience in financial close, reporting, and reconciliation processes

• Integration knowledge with SD, MM, and Treasury modules

• Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, or FPSL is an advantage

• Ability to write functional specifications and work with development teams

• Experience with FIORI apps and S/4HANA-specific functionalities

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Architect to lead the design and implementation of finance solutions within our SAP landscape. • Mentor junior consultants and support training initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO), with at least 4 full-cycle S/4HANA migration or implementations.
• Deep understanding of finance business processes and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting,
• Experience in integrating SAP Finance with Treasury, Tax, and Reporting tools (e.g., Group Reporting, SAC).
• Ability to document and present architecture design to both technical and business audiences.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a SAP Finance Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team.

Key Profile Requirements :

• Demonstrated excellence in project management and experience in presentation to senior leadership
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience within SAP Digital Transformation (ideally SAP Finance) with experience as Program delivery lead and SAP Implementation in a minimum of 6 projects.
• Proven experience successfully leading and managing a team delivering Digital transformation projects
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Consulting experience and SAP implementation experience is a must

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of project managers and supervisors delivering projects throughout the entire project life cycle to meet project objectives
• Maintain an overall view of all Regions, workstreams, etc.
• Ensure PMO has the appropriate governance structure in place.
• Ensure all areas have appropriate and achievable plans and timelines can be met.
• Ensure risks and issues are effectively mitigated or resolved.
• Responsible for reporting and raising issues to Business Stakeholders where Programme Timeline / Quality may be impacted.
• Attend Steering committee, change control board and any other governance meetings as required
• Ensure successful delivery of the program
• Stakeholder management and issues resolution
• Lead the team to ensure projects are delivered to scope, budget, schedule, and required quality, within client requirements

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in leading Finance stream, leading SAP projects or have been in PMO Position
• Strong knowledge in Program management, Project management standards, overseeing and controlling projects
• Strong knowledge in business processes and practices
• Good understanding of processes related to business requirement collection and analysis, building product roadmap requirements and product delivery
• Good Public Sector knowledge
• Candidate should be Arabic Speaker
• Demonstrated track record managing teams and complex engagements in the consulting arena
