JOB TITLE: Cards Portfolio Management Specialist

TERM: 12 months (with potential extension)

REPORTS TO: Head of Cards & Payments

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• 8 - 10 years in Cards Portfolio Management
• Customer lifecycle management
• Spend and balance build campaigns

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Cards cross-border payments, e-commerce, and merchant partnerships
• Campaign execution, customer segmentation, and performance analytics

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: Strategic advisory and execution support for cards portfolio optimization initiatives spanning key KPIs like ENR, spend, authorization, etc. To drive growth in card activation, customer engagement, utilization, and balance build through strategic planning, campaign execution, and portfolio optimization leveraging data analytics, merchant partnerships and other lifecycle management tools

Key Activities & Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze portfolio trends and develop strategies to improve activation, usage and retention
• Support to develop and implement strategies to grow the credit card portfolio in line with business targets
• Support initiatives related to customer engagement & balance build, including end-to-end management of campaigns across channels to grow spends and balances
• Support the credit card instalment plans strategy, including design and construct of payment plans, implementation of an effective sales strategy and optimizing revenues
• Design and implement lifecycle campaigns and customer engagement programs; end-to-end campaign management and driving appropriate customer communication
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of all campaign and offers
• Optimize portfolio performance through segmentation, targeting, and offer personalization
• Provide execution support for campaign rollout, tracking, and reporting
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to align on campaign objectives and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with internal approvals and regulatory requirements
• Help manage the financial performance of the credit card portfolio; develop financial forecasts and budgets, monitor actual performance vs targets and identify opportunities to mitigate headwinds

KPIs:

• Increase in plastic activation rate, spend activation rate, spend/card
• Improve card utilization, ENR/card, installment sales
• Manage credit limit increase and decrease activities
• Data-driven portfolio campaigns with pre- and post-campaign results
• Customer engagement and activation metrics
• Development of new partnerships to add value for cardholders

• Timely execution of planned initiatives

Knowledge & Experience:

• 8 - 10 years in banking, payments, or consulting with a focus on credit card portfolio optimization, digital engagement, card product management (regional experience preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; advanced degree or MBA preferred
• Knowledge of Cards P&L, revenue, loyalty programs and campaign management a big plus
• Fluent in English; Arabic fluency preferred
• Comfortable with significant client interaction and relationship-building
• Proven track record in campaign execution, customer segmentation, and performance analytics
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of project management tools
• Analytical skills

Based in Saudi Arabia, this Quantitative Active Equity Portfolio Manager will support global Investment Teams in the day to day efforts related to investment analysis.

The role will further include but not limited to day-to-day portfolio analysis, actively participate in trading discussions, evaluation of the risk and positioning of strategies, interaction with partners in Operations and supporting the distribution process.

The role reports to the Head of Quantitative Portfolio Management and works in concert with global teams and specialists to support the NTAM investment process.

The key responsibilities of the role include :

• Analyse day-to-day strategies / portfolios to meet client objectives within specified guidelines, regulatory frame-work and corporate policies.
• Communicates with internal Investment Teams as needed and makes recommendations on required changes by the business on more complex investment matters.
• Participate in projects of factor development, model design, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Analyze and produce reports on portfolio performance, risk characteristics, and holdings for quarterly (or otherwise) client meetings.
• Work with support partners in operations and middle office to resolve issues related to exceptions, accounting issues or data discrepancies to ensure portfolio information is accurate.
• Respond accurately and promptly to client / partner inquiries regarding performance of strategies / portfolios.
• Ensure risk and attribution reports are prepared as required.
• Assist Sales, Strategist, and other partners as needed with presentations and special projects.
• Collaborate with the Quant Analytics team to build and maintain portfolio tools used to analyse and research quant active investment strategies.
• Support and enhance our overall Quantitative investment process and platform.
