Job Description

Job Summary

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring all facilities, equipment, and systems at Silver Sands Beach are maintained in excellent working condition. The role involves leading a team of technicians, planning and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to provide a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of engineering technicians across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruptions to guest services.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities, identify maintenance needs, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts/tools.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure team compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in planning and executing small projects, renovations, and equipment upgrades.
  • Report maintenance status, issues, and recommendations to the Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).

  • Solid experience in 5-star hotel industry

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Job Description

Salla, a leading provider of information technology and services, is currently seeking a talented Quality Engineering Lead to join our team.

As the Quality Engineering Lead, you will be responsible To educate, inspire, and assist teams in the understanding of Quality practices and adoption of the right testing strategies.

To support organizational efforts to embrace the whole team’s Quality culture.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on Quality practices and testing methodologies.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and support to teams in adopting these practices.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of best practices for software testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment of testing strategies with business objectives and software development lifecycle.
- Encourage and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to embed quality in all stages of development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and technologies.
- Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and implement solutions.
- Lead and support teams during incident and outage responses.
- Collect, analyze, and report on QA metrics and statistics across teams.

**Requirements**:

- Proven +6 experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and Quality methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with QA tools and automated testing software.
- Servant Leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence others.
- Experience with KPI and Reporting tools.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
