Job Description

Job Summary

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring all facilities, equipment, and systems at Silver Sands Beach are maintained in excellent working condition. The role involves leading a team of technicians, planning and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to provide a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of engineering technicians across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruptions to guest services.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities, identify maintenance needs, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts/tools.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure team compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in planning and executing small projects, renovations, and equipment upgrades.
  • Report maintenance status, issues, and recommendations to the Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).

  • Solid experience in 5-star hotel industry

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

  • Computer literacy (MS Office, maintenance management systems).

  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role within payment processing or fintech.
  • Extensive experience with fraud detection systems, payment gateways, and high-volume transaction platforms.
  • Expertise in payout systems, payment acceptance rate optimization, and secure transaction management.

Job Description

Role Summary

Responsible for receiving items, documentary & technical Verification, Creation of goods receiving document, on request issuance of item, making return of item when required, creation of New Material Opening, correspondence/ communication with concerns & self-audit

Responsibilities
  • Location to Location Transfer of item with quantity.
  • Convert item from Non-Inventory to Inventory .
  • Any short coming found during Verification/ Re-Verification informed to concern person/ Section to get it solved.
  • Review & correction of tagging if required .
  • Machine Tagging on Shelves by using warehouse management skills, through Re-Shuflling or through other ways, create space without further expansion.
  • Through Conducting Location wise Self Audit (Verification/ Re-Verification) on system vs physical basis.
  • Zero Value P.O. to inventory conversion.
  • Bin Wise Segregation of items .
  • Tagging on Bin.
  • Updating the parts information through SAP System .
  • Prepare goods issuance report on SAP System .
  • In case of Non-Availability of Notification/ Order number to make (MIR) reservation number then issuance to be done through Temporary issuance form .
  • Follow up the documentations of temporary issuance .
  • Support user to create Reservation (MIR).
  • Consumable items &Inventory item separation .
  • Conduct Physical Verification of received item(s) as per P.O./ Quotation.
  • After Verification proceed to make GRR (Goods Receiving Report) .
  • Report any discrepancy to concern department.
  • Return item to Engineering Procurement for rectification.
  • Arrange item as per location requirements.
  • Documents with GRR need to send to Finance
Qualifications
  • 5- 7 years experience in Engineering Warehouse.
  • Experience with FMCG or Pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any relevant .
  • Warehouse Management Skills .
  • Computers operational Skills .
  • ERP System silks required
  • Basic information relates to Engineering Spare parts.
  • Communication Skills
  • Fluency in Arabic & English languages.
