Job Description
The role
- Ensuring the finance team deliver an efficient and effective day to day service.
- Overseeing month end close and other periodical closes in accordance with firms' policy.
- Manage relationship with the bank and other advisors, ensuring issues are addressed and where appropriate escalated to the Regional Head of Finance.
- Collaborate with the Regional Head of Finance and Partners to prepare the annual budget.
- Prepare various financial statements, analyses and compliance testing.
- Responsible for cash flow forecasting and treasury management.
- Liaison with external accounts, tax authorities and other regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain all necessary tax records, and other books and records;
- Support the expansion and development of existing offices.
- Oversee the production and delivery of year end accounts for review by external auditors.
- Oversee statutory audits for all entities across the region.
- Business partner to the KSA partner group, covering performance aspects of all offices in the region.
- Driving profitability of individual partners and wider practice groups.
Compliance and BAU
- Act as first point of contact with BAU, compliance and risk teams.
- Ensure standard KYC and file management procedures are adhered to.
Management team
- Ensure good communication with the rest of the management team, particularly those based outside of KSA, and escalate any issues as appropriate.
- Support the MEA Management Board and KSA Executive Committee in planning and achieving their objectives.
Other
- Any other tasks or duties as required to support the efficient running of the office.

Job SummaryA position has arisen to assist the Head of Finance Operations ME&A in delivering a high quality and effective tax reporting and statutory compliance function for ME&A business. This role will head the tax and compliance function which, with the support of finance operations team and internal tax advisory team, will ensure tax compliance of all ME&A entities, manage tax submissions, planning & budgeting and contribute towards statutory compliance (including internal & external audits and statutory financial statements). Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of processes surrounding tax and statutory compliance, maintaining robust reconciliations and documentation to satisfy tax and finance regulatory requirements;

Essential
- Fully Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA / CPA or other recognised Accounting qualification;

- Sound knowledge of Middle East tax regulations and requirements;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools;

Job Description
Sarmad is seeking a Finance Manager to join its insurance startup team. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will also be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements
- Manage the financial reporting process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Provide financial analysis and support for decision making
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Professional certification such as CMA or CPA is preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Saudi nationality is required
