The Director of Manufacturing, Middle East is Lucid Motor’s prime lead for vehicle and battery manufacturing in the region. This position will lead the team through various strategic stages of business start-up and growth over the next several years, with major timing milestones comprised of volume, quality, and cost. This is a venture that will significantly expand the regional competencies of vehicle assembly, contributing to economic growth and diversity.
- Essential Duties
- KD (Knock Down) Assembly
- In concert with the Global Skill Team, develop and implement a plan to perform KD assembly in the region for US-built units
- Factory Readiness
- Ensure the ‘voice of the Plant’ is considered during factory design, construction and readiness activities. Play an active role in Launch activities including the installation and prove-out of equipment, tooling, and parts
- People Plan
- Develop a people staffing plan aligned to manufacturing capabilities and key milestone timing
- Leverage Operational Excellence standards for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- CBU (Complete Build Unit) capabilities
- Develop a multi-year roadmap to strategically ramp up towards full CBU assembly and volume
- Play a proactive role in future product design to ensure the Plant’s ability to consistently achieve key KPI’s once in series production

We seek a Business Development Expert to work closely with senior leaders, focusing on sourcing new clients and generating revenue, primarily targeting large customers in the MENA region.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue by owning the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close and activation.
  • Develop strategies for hunting, demoing, and closing opportunities with stakeholders to meet quarterly and annual goals.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to analyze customer needs, advise, and build long-term relationships.
  • Establish credibility as a thought leader in Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, Fraud, and Credit Risk.
  • Focus on results, pipeline generation, revenue, and forecast accuracy, inspiring others.
  • Navigate relationships with stakeholders including C-suite executives, investors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with presales, product, and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of quota-carrying enterprise or SaaS sales experience with full-cycle closing skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in GCC markets.
  • Proven track record closing multiple deals per quarter with an average ACV of over $100K.
  • Ability to discuss product value with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Consistent achievement of sales targets in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience participating in RFPs with collaboration from bid and pre-sales teams.
  • High adaptability to startup evolution and change.
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and a multitasker eager to make an impact.

Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to join our Downstream Transaction Development Department.

Downstream Growth and Development (DG&D) implements the Company’s downstream growth strategy through the development of profitable investment opportunities, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and joint venture partnerships in the areas of integrated refining and petrochemicals, marketing, retail, lubricants and other areas of the downstream business. Downstream Transaction Development Department (DTDD) executes approved transactions within the downstream business by managing a comprehensive due diligence process, identifying synergies, mitigating risks, deal structuring and conducting negotiations.

You will be responsible for executing approved transactions including initiation and management of due diligence, valuation, structuring and negotiations of proposed deals, as well as engaging and working constructively with internal corporate stakeholders, external advisors and prospective partners during transaction development and post-transaction setup & readiness phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of approved investments and lead different due diligence workstreams, valuation, deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors and prospective partners to ensure smooth execution of the transaction.
  • Provide regular updates on transaction status, progress and challenges to management.
  • Support the setup and operational readiness phases following the transaction’s completion.
  • Participate in creating the commercial, financial and technical framework for the deal.
  • Lead evaluation of business opportunities including valuation techniques and methodologies.
  • Define scope of due diligence required and coordinate due diligence activities; present results of valuation and due diligence activities and lead development of commercial agreements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • As the successful candidate you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferable, or other disciplines), Business, Finance or Economics from a recognized and approved program. MBA or a relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Professional Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are preferred.
  • You must have a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in downstream business development, with a strong track record of technical, economic and commercial experience in downstream business such as refining, petrochemicals, marketing (wholesale & retail), lubricant, logistics and storage with a deep understanding of associated operations, optimization and value-chain integration.
  • Experience in executing term sheets and definitive agreements typical in downstream transactions, along with management of post-transaction integrations, setup and readiness.
  • An adequate understanding of financial analysis of companies and valuation methodologies; commercial principles of a transaction; different types of transactions.
  • Demonstrate a leadership role in lead transaction execution and negotiations of definitive documents experience.
