Overview
Role Overview: As a Backend Engineer / Lead, you will architect, scale, and optimize the backend foundations of Lucidya Light's PLG product. Your work will power experimentation, self-serve onboarding, trial-to-paid conversions, and retention loops at scale. You will lead a team of backend engineers, design resilient systems, and ensure the infrastructure supports fast, data-driven product experiments and smooth end-to-end user experiences.
Responsibilities- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage backend engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish best practices for backend development, code reviews, and testing standards.
- PLG-Driven Development
- Guide the team to build backend systems that enable self-serve onboarding, trial-to-paid conversions, and retention loops.
- Support experimentation with feature flags, A/B testing, and PLG metrics instrumentation.
- System Architecture
- Design and implement robust, scalable backend architectures optimized for rapid iteration and growth experiments.
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, and Designers to align backend capabilities with PLG goals.
- Ensure seamless integrations, secure APIs, and smooth data flows.
- DevOps & Reliability
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system monitoring/recovery.
- Continuously improve infrastructure to support growth and experimentation.
- Innovation & Growth
- Stay current with backend technologies and PLG best practices.
- Introduce frameworks, tools, and processes that improve developer velocity and user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of backend development experience (overall 7-8 years).
- 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Proven track record of shipping scalable backend systems in SaaS or PLG contexts.
- Strong expertise in Python and Ruby on Rails.
- Solid experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis, Cassandra).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Exposure to PLG initiatives or growth-oriented engineering work.
- Background in full-stack development (ReactJS).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Product, Frontend, and Growth teams.

The Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer will play a lead role in advancing Lucid’s goal of being a highly automated manufacturing company. They will work closely with external equipment suppliers and internal teams including Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance to design, program, test, and commission complex automated test systems.
You Will- Review and approve Test Specifications and change requests from the design engineering team. Act as the manufacturing engineering representative to analyze and provide feedback on test sequence and parameters, cycle time, process flow for various test failure modes, etc.
- Design test system hardware to implement test requirements. This includes system layout, component selection, cabinet/rack design, selection and sizing of connectors and cables, with consideration for heat loads, electrical noise, and ease of access for troubleshooting.
- Develop modular test applications with intuitive and informative GUIs. Utilize databases to store test parameters and log test data. Implement user access control to allow modifying test sequences and parameters from the GUI.
- Provide inputs to test station design including DUT handling and connection methods. Specify test application interface with station control system. Collaborate with controls engineers to develop overall station sequence, and responses to different failure modes.
- Manage test equipment sourcing, build, and validation by internal and external teams. For externally sourced equipment, create RFQs, select suppliers and track their progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop commissioning and validation plans for test equipment including Gauge Reliability and Repeatability tests, red-rabbits, and injection/simulation of various failure modes.
- Launch test systems on manufacturing lines. Collaborate with cross functional teams to monitor functionality and performance. Train maintenance and operations teams on error recovery and troubleshooting techniques. Collaborate with factory data visualization teams on creating dashboards.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree in Engineering required (Preferred Electrical or Electronics Engineering).
- 5+ years of experience developing automated test equipment for manufacturing.
- Experience in launching automated test systems on high volume manufacturing lines.
- Experience in testing electric vehicle powertrain components is a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of electrical & electronics circuits and components, cables and connectors.
- Ability to design electrical schematics using AutoCAD or Eplan.
- Knowledge and experience in developing test system hardware using National Instruments platforms such as PXI, cDAQ, cRIO.
- Expertise in developing test application software using one or more software tools such as NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, NI Veristand, Python, Arduino IDE, MATLAB.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, etc.
- Ability to use electrical test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc. for validation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, etc. is a plus.
- Strong organization skills – tracking schedule and open items, creating meeting agendas and minutes.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company.

Position Overview
The Logistics Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing and optimizing end-to-end material handling processes to support efficient and cost-effective logistics and manufacturing operations. This role focuses on improving internal logistics flows, warehouse operations, and resource utilization (manpower and equipment), ensuring alignment with lean principles and long-term business goals. Key Responsibilities
- Time Studies & Productivity Improvement: Conduct detailed time and motion studies to establish labor standards, uncover inefficiencies, and drive improvements in cycle time and productivity.
- Manpower & Equipment Planning: Develop robust plans for manpower and material handling equipment (MHE) requirements to ensure effective and efficient operations in warehousing and production support.
- Value Stream Mapping: Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions to identify process bottlenecks and develop actionable strategies for end-to-end process enhancement.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs for material flow, warehousing, and productivity. Proactively identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Vendor Coordination & Project Execution: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment, tools, and fixtures. Support system commissioning activities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and quality teams to align requirements and secure approvals at each stage of the project lifecycle.
- Lean Manufacturing: Champion lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban to foster a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination.
- Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed layouts, reports, and presentations that communicate plans, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in material flow design, warehouse layout planning, and logistics optimization.
- Proficiency in Value Stream Mapping, time studies, and productivity improvement methods.
- Experience in defining, tracking, and improving KPIs for warehousing and logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience in manpower and MHE planning, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, VSM) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout design.
- Working knowledge of SAP WMS and material planning modules (preferred).
- Strong vendor management, cross-functional coordination, and project execution skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.Tech.) in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Industry Experience: 9+ years in the automotive or equivalent Manufacturing industries with a strong understanding of supply chain systems and processes (mandatory).

Job Description
Berkeley Engineering Consultants is seeking a Lead Discipline Engineer – Process to manage and guide all process engineering activities across major oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects. The role involves leading a team of process engineers, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with international standards, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process simulations.
- Ensure all process designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and applicable international codes such as API and ASME.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the process engineering team throughout project phases.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of process requirements into overall project design.
- Participate in HAZOPs, SIL studies, and risk assessments, ensuring safety and operability of process systems.
- Review and approve process datasheets, calculations, and design documents prepared by junior engineers.
- Support procurement by reviewing vendor documents, conducting technical evaluations, and participating in vendor meetings.
- Engage with clients to clarify requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
