We are seeking a Head of Infrastructure Asset Management for our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office. The position is located in the Middle East and offers exciting challenges and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contractors’ asset management activities related to infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement knowledge transfer programs for all asset management disciplines.
  • Supervise the physical infrastructure of the rail system, including tracks, bridges, tunnels, and related components, ensuring maintenance, upgrades, and expansions for safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and execute infrastructure maintenance and improvement programs.
  • Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to assess and repair track conditions.
  • Plan and oversee infrastructure expansion and upgrade projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for all infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor the structural integrity of bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure elements.
  • Collaborate with environmental and sustainability teams on eco-friendly infrastructure solutions.
  • Prepare budgets, timelines, and progress reports for infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical expertise during planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Background in industrial asset management, preferably in the railway sector.
  • Minimum academic degree: B.Sc. in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the rail industry.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Minimum 10 years in a similar position.
  • International experience, with a preference for GCC countries.
