- Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- High degree of professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
- Lead data privacy and protection initiatives in line with PDPL and relevant frameworks.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain privacy compliance programs.
- Advise on privacy controls, policies, and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert guidance to business units, IT teams, and compliance functions on data privacy risks.
- Monitor, review, and update privacy documentation and controls in response to regulatory changes.
- Deliver privacy awareness and training programs for employees and stakeholders.
- Support incident response processes related to personal data breaches.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the organization in privacy-related matters.
