Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise and assist the management/technicians in all aspects of his specialty.
- Provide Mobile Teams support to Sectors and Radar sites for the wireless communication systems/subsystems.
- Perform intermediate level installation and maintenance on the wireless communications systems, as required.
- Carry out Preventative Maintenance Instructions (PMIs), as required.
- Properly document maintenance activities (PMIs, Job Control Documents (JCDs) and configuration changes).
- Produce/update engineering training material for On-the-Job training and conduct training as required/requested.

Qualifications
Shall have a minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Specialized training and certification in at least one of the wireless communications systems is required. These systems include: VRCS System, HF Radio System, UHF/VHF Radio System, Microwave Radio System, WiFi, TETRA, or the SATCOM. Must be qualified and specialized on the specific equipment, hardware and software, operation and maintenance of the specific discipline. Must be proficient in the use of desktop computer software packages, in particular MS Office.
Experience
- The candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the field of TETRA communications.
- Shall be fully conversant with the equipment, facilities, and installations in use in a TETRA system or have had experience on equipment, facilities, installations or systems of the similar type and generation in a communications environment.
- Shall be fully conversant in wireless radios, having experience on HF, VHF, UHF and SHF communications including associated multiplexing and terminal equipment, Land Mobiles, multi-channel Tape Recorders and Pager Equipment, as well as TETRA radio operations and maintenance.
- Shall be fully conversant and have an understanding of TETRA uplink, downlink, RF, Multiplex, Modems, Antenna Tracking system, and other equipment in use in a TETRA system or have had experience on similar equipment or systems of the same generation.
- Shall have three (3) years experience in developing and/or supporting at least one current C2 wireless communications systems. These systems include: VRCS System, HF Radio System, UHF/VHF Radio System, Microwave Radio System, TETRA, or a SATCOM radios is required.

As a Network Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers and partners, focusing on pre-sales test support, partner training, and project implementation on Ruijie network products or solutions. You will also be responsible for service delivery quality within your coverage territory.

Main responsibilities- Work with remote TAC and R&D teams to conduct pre-sales tests, POCs, and demonstrations, focusing on Network and Wireless areas.
- Collaborate closely with the TAC level 2 support team to resolve technical issues and service requests from partners and customers efficiently.
- Provide technical support to enterprise industry channel partners, focusing on Campus Network and Wireless areas.
- Enhance channel partners’ technical service capabilities through regular training, technical certification, product training, and workshops.
- Assist in establishing service process systems (customer support, RMA, project delivery, etc.) and ensure service quality by managing service partner delivery in responsible countries.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in network essentials or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Over 3 years of technical support and implementation experience in network-related areas (Switch, Router, VPN, Wireless). Experience with Cisco, HPE, Aruba, Ruckus, Huawei, and Juniper is preferred.
- Experience in configuring and administering Wireless products (LAN Controllers, Access Points), and Wireless LAN Security (WEP, WPA2/WPA3, LEAP, PEAP).
- Professional certifications like CCNP/CCIE, HCNP/HCNE, JNCIS/JNCIP, HPE ASE, Aruba ACMP are preferred.
- Experience in customer interaction or client-facing roles, with excellent presentation, communication, and moderation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong multitasking skills and managing multiple engagements.
- Excellent English communication skills; Chinese language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business.
