What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst (SA) in a Client-Focused role within BCG's Public Sector (PS) and Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Practice Areas (PAs) in the Middle East, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.).
- Core focus areas will include supporting the growth of the regional PS x C&S IP, including topics important to developing sustainable water, waste, and agricultural systems in the Middle East, such as green transformations, sustainable waste systems and circular economy, sustainable food and water systems, digital/AI/GenAI solutions and technologies for sustainable development, in close collaboration with sectoral and functional expertise from across the PS and C&S PAs.
- You will contribute to proposals and cases through thought partnership in your area of expertise, delivering original analyses and insights that help drive strong impact with clients. This includes participating in day-to-day meetings with clients, developing presentations (in PowerPoint) and quantitative models (in Excel) as needed, running meetings independently or with the support of BCG leadership, and developing white papers (in Word) detailing specific topics of expertise. You will also be responsible for preparing proposals (in PowerPoint) to support business development efforts and contributing to the development of internal BCG Practice Area initiatives.
- While contributing to client cases, workshops, and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements and design/develop solutions.
- Additionally, as a Senior Analyst, you will support the development of intellectual property and assets for the business.

What You'll Bring
- 2+ years consulting experience in relevant sector/topic. Candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred, or engineering experience in waste, water, food and agriculture systems in the Middle East
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred, particularly in utilities (water), waste management, or organizations offering innovative technological solutions in water, waste, and/or agri-food systems
- Comprehensive understanding of water, waste, and/or food value chains is required, including familiarity with regional challenges and opportunities in resource management, infrastructure, policy frameworks, and technology adoption.
- Candidates should be able to assess system inefficiencies, pinpoint key pain points, and identify value-creation levers through a data-driven, innovation-focused approach. A strong grasp of emerging technology trends (including the use of AI/GenAI), public-private partnerships (PPP), financing and investment dynamics, and the broader policy context is essential
- Experience in developing sustainability strategies at the government level is a plus, including materiality assessment, target setting, identification of key ESG initiatives, and development of implementation roadmap
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM required (advanced degree preferred)
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Strong data and analytical capabilities, e.g., versatile in ESG data platforms, Excel, Alteryx and Tableau or similar with proven ability to build consistent models and user-friendly client-ready dashboards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders ("client-ready") while working in a global collaborative team environment

Job Description
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals ( KFUPM ) invites applications for faculty positions starting from Fall 2020. The CEE department at KFUPM offers a high quality teaching and research environment. Its undergraduate program is fully accredited by the ABET (U.S.A.) and our graduate program is also very active with currently more than 60 M.S. and Ph.D. students enrolled in the Structural, Geotechnical, Transportation, and Water Resources & Environmental Engineering areas. Furthermore, our labs are fully equipped with modern equipment and software in all disciplines of civil engineering and are backed by full time technical staff members who support both teaching and research activities. The CEE Department is also expanding its Structural Engineering Lab facility with state-of-the-art equipment including Earthquake Engineering research facilities. Furthermore, there are several funding agencies at KFUPM such as Deanship of Research ( KFUPM ), KACST , ARAMCO , NSTIP , SABIC , etc., which upon project acceptance, offer appropriate research grants. The university also supports attendance at 2-3 international conferences for faculty’s professional growth, stimulation of research activities and exchange of ideas. The faculty member responsibilities will include teaching at both undergraduate & graduate levels, developing a strong and well-funded research program, and assisting the department in other professional activities. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at KFUPM is actively looking to hire faculty in the following areas of Civil Engineering at all professional ranks:

Job Responsibility
