The Department of Civil Engineering & Environmental Engineering is seeking potential Saudi candidates holding a Master degree for research and teaching purposes in one of the following specializations:

• Geotechnical Engineering
• Transportation and Highway Engineering

The candidate will be expected to be available for professional duties for approximately 35-40 hours per week and to carry out teaching, research, academic advising, administrative duties, and any other academic duties assigned by the academic department concerned. They now have a need for a Project Director to work on a Design-Build project for a water transmission line in excess of 100 Km in length and a water treatment plant. The project is located in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.

DUTIES:

1. Complete Profit and Loss responsibility for the project.
2. Manage the process of design and procurement in collaboration with head office teams and execution by directing own and subcontractor resources.
3. Produce regular value, cost and progress management reports.

1. At least 20 years of experience in contracting out of which 5 years should be in a position of similar responsibility for an infrastructure project valued above 100 Million USD.
2. Minimum Academic Qualifications: B.Sc in Civil engineering from a recognized academic institution.
3. Excellent command of English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage. Ability to express himself fluently and coherently is highly valued.
4. Ability to demonstrate command of FIDIC conditions of contract.
5. Ability to demonstrate familiarity with basic estimating and cost control processes in the construction of infrastructure projects.
