We are looking for an experienced Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in the design, optimization, and commissioning of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). The candidate will be responsible for process design, performance optimization, and cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure efficient and compliant wastewater treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review process designs for wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs).
  • Size and select treatment units (screens, aeration tanks, clarifiers, digesters, disinfection systems).
  • Conduct process simulations, hydraulic profiles, and mass balance calculations.
  • Optimize treatment performance for effluent quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of treatment systems.

You will work within a strong network of dedicated professionals who provide industry-leading customer service and support via Senior Leadership, Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Technical Support, Project Sales, Bids Team, and Technical Applications professionals.

The Technical Solutions Manager will develop technical awareness around the online /process measurement solutions that Hach provides to each customer, tailored to their specific needs and the industry in which they operate

This role ensures efficient system performance, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection by overseeing processes such as evaporation, crystallization, filtration, and reverse osmosis. The operator performs regular testing, maintains accurate records, and ensures equipment reliability in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor all stages of the ZLD process, including pretreatment, reverse osmosis (RO), evaporation, crystallization, and sludge handling.
  • Start up, shut down, and adjust process equipment to maintain optimal operating conditions.
  • Conduct regular sampling and analysis of water and sludge (e.g., TDS, pH, conductivity, hardness) to ensure system performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs, operational data, and records using manual logs or digital systems (SCADA/LIMS).
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on pumps, membranes, filters, and heat exchangers.
