Warehouse Associate - Riyadh– People with Disabilities (PWD)

Contract type: Full-time employment with three month probation

Shift based: Yes

This position is only for those who qualify as (People with disabilities – PWD).

You are few steps away from joining Amazon Fulfillment Center Team.

This role would require a lot of physical energy as you'll be on the move for your whole shift to pick, pack and dispatch packages to allow Amazon to deliver orders efficiently. Get prepared to work with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills.

In this role, you will run some exciting activities:

• Use hand-held devices and scanners to sort, scan, and prepare products for delivery
• Exchange safety tips daily with co-workers
• Build, wrap, sort and transport packages

You will also need to be able to:

• Lift packages weighing up to 22 kg
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during 9 /10 hours shifts
• Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move stuff large quantities of merchandise
• Go up and down stairs
• Attend scheduled shift during Fridays and Saturdays, or Public holidays

• Your safety is important to us, which requires you to wear a safety vest and start your day with daily stretching
• You will work around and use moving machines, such as pickers, and mobile carts

• Your shifts will include activities that may require standing in one place for long periods or walking long distances. You will need to wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes

• It can get hot. Even with climate controls, temperatures in some parts of our warehouses may vary between 20 and 30 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 38 degrees in the yard

• It can get noisy. We will give you hearing protection, if you need it
• The dress code is relaxed with respect to the safety dress code, which is a mandatory requirement

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder with specialization in accounting, business administration, or engineering
• 2 years of experience in storekeeping, Warehouse, Spare Parts Management
• Skilled in Inventory report preparation
• Warehouse management knowledge, Basic costing knowledge,
• Saudi nationals

Preferred Skills:

Primary objective and Responsibilities:

• The incumbent holds the ultimate responsibility for maintaining the technical spare part supply in the Store/ Warehouse in close collaboration with the Supervisor.
• Carry out receipt inspection and order verification.
• Perform storage, labeling, and system updating upon receiving the items (posting of stock withdrawal and preparation of stock receiving report).
• Record and post the daily issuing of spare parts withdrawn with the highest accuracy.
• Perform periodical stock-taking (physical stock counting) as and when required.
• Purchasing and arranging of spare parts in alignment with the supervisor and the need from the stakeholders.
• Maintain good "housekeeping" in store.
• Administrate parts and machine catalogs/manuals.
• Evaluation & reconciliation of daily receipts.
• Coordination and execution of local repair, fabrication, and service orders.
• Ensure maintenance of stock level as per defined min-max range in collaboration with the Supervisor.

The Goods Associate is responsible for ensuring that goods are properly stored. They also play a important role in receiving and shipping goods.

Responsibilities

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Supervises the warehouse staff under his control; Assists, guides, and counsels them as necessary, monitoring job performance and providing input to performance appraisals; participates in training and development activities.

Job Description

• Follow & Implement policies regarding warehouse Order management, Ensuring Picking & Loading in a flexible & efficient manner to achieve operational excellence & make the deliveries in a timely & Customer focused manner.
• Maintain the % punctuality of dispatching and unloading above % of the agreed cut off time
• Involve & Implement the "Quality Assurance" policies and strategies (Food Defense and food fraud awareness)
• Participate in the development of the area yearly expenses budget, and manage it on daily basis
• Manage the warehouse ambient and cold store operations capabilities and process in order to maximize the utilization of the Warehouse resources
• Maintain the Warehouse (Ambient and cold store) Inventory Records Accuracy and sustainable inventory control & management system
• Maintain the Warehouse compliance as per SOX requirements
• Manage KPI's related to Warehouse and review the result in target check meeting
• Assure the minimum work conditions to all employees of the warehouse (Ambient and Cold Store) and machine
• Train & educate the operations team, to pass them the updated company policy and procedure
• Implement the Health, Safety and Environmental, 5S program for the cold stores and all Warehouse

POSITION SUMMARY

• Ensuring the day-to-day operation of the Warehouse is carried out in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. With a high level of customer services focus. Activities include receives, storage and distribution of materials. With the ongoing support of Maintenance and Production (the Customers) activities in regard to Inventory requirements.
• Reporting on all activities in accordance with Materials Management Procedures and all relevant statutory and legal requirements.
• Customer liaison with key Maintenance, Planning and Production personnel.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Drives the objectives of exceeding safety and environment targets through the application of safe work practices and housekeeping standards in every aspect of the job.
• Follows and uses all supply/warehousing related processes and procedures to ensure safe, efficient and productive work practices.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement/development of processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency of the warehouse, through the application of JIGPC Business System.
• Understanding of Audit and KPI's targets to ensure that these requirements are met.
• Ensures the optimization of stock holdings by ensuring that Inventory is controlled in a secure and useable manner by the application of sound inventory knowledge, management and security principles.
• Controls the accurate and efficient recording of all Inventory movements in and out of the warehouse through electronic and mechanical means in a timely manner according to customer priorities.
• Ensures that physical inventory holdings match the electronic inventory management systems. Through ad-hoc and cyclical counting of all Inventory items on a regular planned basis.
• Contributes to the knowledge of customers of the supply system by providing training and assistance as required.
• Works semi-autonomously in a small team environment that has developed high levels of communication.
• Ensures that hazardous and dangerous materials are handled, stored and transported in accordance with appropriate procedures, standards and legislation.

Skills

• Extensive skills in computerized stock control systems (SAP) are required.
• Must have a broad computer knowledge, which includes proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Hazardous Materials Handling training.

Education And Experience

• Successful completion of Diploma as a minimum.
• Above average level of verbal and written English skills as a minimum.
• Above average level of problem-solving skills as a minimum.
• Average level of mechanical aptitude as a minimum.
• Should either currently have License/Operating certificate to operate mobile equipment identified for use in Warehouse or have the ability to receive one shortly after hire.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in chemical / refinery / gas plant maintenance / inspection / engineering.
• 5+ years previous material handling experience

Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities. You will be responsible for implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards, while achieving the required volume targets within set timeframes.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations run smoothly and meet or exceed performance expectations.

Responsibilities:

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and ensuring the quality of goods.

Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.

Organize and maintain inventory and the storage area.

Ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory transactions.

Communicate job expectations clearly and coach employees for continuous improvement.

Determine staffing levels and assign workloads accordingly.

Interface with the customer care team to answer questions or resolve issues.

Maintain accurate records of items, document necessary information, and use reports to assess warehouse status.

Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative or enhanced work procedures and practices.
