Apt Resources is currently looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join their client's team for a Supermarket chain in Angola, West Africa. As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the store by managing the incoming stock, ensuring accurate documentation, and organizing the stockroom efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Counting stock and making inventory reports for warehouses
  • Receive and inspect stock deliveries
  • Check the quantity and quality of incoming stock
  • Handle documentation and maintain accurate records of stock
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom
  • Ensure stock is properly labeled and stored
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely restocking

The Role

They're looking for an energetic, eager-to-learn, and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support daily logistics, customs clearance, purchasing, and warehousing activities. You'll be at the core of ensuring shipments run smoothly, documents are in order, and vendors and internal teams stay updated. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and strong follow-up skills make all the difference.

What You'll Do

  • Track inbound and outbound shipments end-to-end, maintaining a clear calendar of ETAs and milestones.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers; follow up on shipment status and required documentation.
