JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated Vertical Transportation Inspection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection and evaluation of vertical transportation systems, such as elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, used in our construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that these systems comply with safety standards and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our infrastructure developments.

As a Vertical Transportation Inspection Specialist, you will perform detailed inspections, prepare reports, and collaborate with project teams and contractors to address any deficiencies. • Conduct comprehensive inspections of vertical transportation systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes.
• Evaluate the performance and operational efficiency of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation components.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports on compliance, issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams and contractors to address inspection findings and implement necessary improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in vertical transportation system inspection or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of vertical transportation systems, safety standards, and relevant codes (such as ASME A17.1, EN 81, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in conducting inspections and evaluations of elevators and escalators.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying non-compliance and safety issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project teams and document findings effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional certifications in vertical transportation inspection are highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities :-

• Lead inspection and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and contractual agreement requirements and meet Ashraq’s standards to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists to standardize processes and ensure accuracy in inspections.
• Coordinate inspection schedules, assignments, and resources, optimizing efficiency and coverage to meet compliance objectives and deadlines.
• Oversee the inspection process, conducting site visits, audits, and reviews to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Analyze inspection findings and compliance data, identifying trends, areas of non-compliance, and opportunities for improvement, and recommending corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, auditors, and other stakeholders, facilitating inspections, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues to maintain positive relationships and ensure smooth overall asset transition and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver training programs on compliance requirements, inspection procedures, and best practices, empowering staff to fulfill their compliance responsibilities effectively.
• Stay abreast of changes in regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to inspection and compliance management, incorporating updates into procedures and practices to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
