In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design aspects of road and tunnel projects, ensuring seamless integration between various design disciplines and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications using modern frameworks and tools.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand user needs and business goals.
  3. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications to communicate design ideas.
  4. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
  5. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
  6. Ensure consistency in design and functionality across different platforms and devices.
  7. Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
  8. Participate in the development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on UI/UX best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role.
  3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  4. Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
  5. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design and development projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
  2. Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.
  3. Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Create user personas, user journeys, and other UX artifacts to guide design.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, requirements, and scope.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and usability testing.
  • Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints, including web and mobile platforms.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Design from KFUPM, Al Faisal University, or KAUST.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree.
  • Certifications.
