**Strategy Formulation**

+ Develop and support implementation Of departmental business plans that are in line With RC'S goals, objectives and vision as formulated in the approved Annual Business Plan
**Budgeting and Control**
+ Actively participate and contribute to the department staffing and budget planning.
+ Monitor costs of external contracts and purchase orders
**Operational Tasks**
+ Perform a full assessment of the existing urban planning work program.
+ Provide leadership and develop proposals to restructure the urban planning work program, if required.
+ Collaborate with the director and section managers and re-define what the urban planning work program needs to be
+ Establish a "Team" effort between director and section managers and propose and maintain a structure for regular department management meetings with deadlines and accountability.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ A minimum of 20 years of experience working on urban and industrial zone planning, with at least 8 years working in a supervisory or management role on a local level responsible for handling investor-oriented land use and zoning issues.
+ Conversant with survey reports, maps, technical drawings, aerial photography, and other topographical/, geologic data to plan and design projects.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Advanced computer skills are essential with experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and a basic understanding of industry standard design software (such as AutoCAD, Adobe-Lab or equivalent).

Job Description
Are you interested in a challenging and highly visible role, where you’ll function as both a strategic business consultant and technical expert supporting our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) customers? We’re looking for people with practical AEC industry experience, broad knowledge of AEC practices and workflows, expertise in technologies, and a high-level of skill working in a customer-focused collaborative team environment. We invite you to use these talents to help both new AEC customers and seasoned users achieve their business goals, realize their geospatial vision and strategy, and deploy geospatial systems using implementation best practices. You’ll serve as an AEC subject matter expert and trusted advisor to:
- Strengthen and broaden the foundation of the Esri geospatial cloud within AEC firms, so they can better serve their end customers
- Partner with AEC firms to provide and coordinate consulting and technical support on specific projects
- Provide GIS, CAD, and BIM expertise on consulting engagements for a wide range of organizations in multiple sectors (such as local government, commercial, utilities, transportation) who conduct architecture, engineering, and construction business activities
In this role, you will provide vision and leadership to grow the AEC services practice within our Professional Services organization. In addition, you will work closely with Business Development, industry marketing, and other teams to promote the use of Esri technology in the AEC industry. This is an opportunity to apply your experience, subject matter expertise, and innovative approaches to help customers successfully implement those capabilities within their organizations.
Responsibilities- Serve as a thought leader on GIS integration with CAD and BIM across the AEC lifecycle (plan, design, build, operate)
- Understand AEC industry challenges, workflows, and customer needs to shape practical geospatial solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding the use of Esri technology to deliver innovative, value-driven outcomes
- Develop geospatial strategies and implementation plans aligned with customer goals and ROI
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and services teams to drive business development and customer growth
- Lead customer engagements, including demos, proposals, presentations, and proofs-of-concept
- Manage complex projects from discovery to deployment, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, and budget
- Build strong relationships with AEC leaders and foster community around GIS innovation in the industry
- 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Professional experience supporting the urban planning, architecture, engineering, and construction field working in an AEC firm or similar organization
- Experience using GIS, CAD, and BIM technology to support projects and other business activities
- Demonstrated ability to consult and engage with executive level leadership
- Ability to effectively engage, collaborate, and communicate with AEC customers, partners, Esri distributors, and Esri teams throughout the company
- Entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to continuously learn, and the ability to work in a dynamic cross-functional team environment
- Ability to grow and maintain internal and external networks with AEC industry influencers and thought leaders
- Knowledge and experience in AEC lifecycle (plan, design, build, and operate) processes and activities, and how innovative use of GIS can benefit those lifecycle phases
- Solid understanding of the ArcGIS platform and how it supports AEC workflows
- Knowledge and experience in the BIM process; integration of GIS, CAD, and BIM technologies; and an understanding of the Esri/Autodesk software connectors
- Knowledge of industry-leading engineering software companies and products, such as Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, BIM 360) and Bentley (MicroStation, Project Wise)
- Proposal writing experience including preparing executive summaries, solution definitions, scopes of services, staffing plans, schedules, and pricing estimates
- Bachelor’s in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, or a related STEM field
- Connections with industry influencers and thought leaders
- American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA), or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with ArcGIS location-based services, geo-enabled applications, spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology
- Master’s in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, or a related STEM field

**Job Description:**
Parsons is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Manager - City Design Planning** to join our team in the City Wide Coordination Department for the groundbreaking THE LINE project at NEOM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in city design planning, with a strong focus on coordinating complex, large-scale urban development projects. This role will be crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of various design elements to create a cohesive and innovative urban environment.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and oversee the integration of city design activities across NEOM THE LINE.
+ Coordinate the work of multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, engineers, and urban designers.
+ Ensure that all design components align with the project's overall vision, objectives, and standards.
+ Manage design workflows, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
+ Support the resolution of design conflicts and challenges, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among teams.
+ Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to gather design information and ensure alignment with project requirements.
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of design strategies that promote sustainability, innovation, and quality.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.**
+ **Minimum of 15 years of experience in city design planning, with significant experience in managing design coordination for large-scale urban development projects.**
+ Strong understanding of urban design principles, infrastructure integration, and public realm development.
+ Proven experience in managing complex design processes, including tracking deliverables, resolving design conflicts, and ensuring alignment across teams.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Ability to balance day-to-day design management with strategic problem-solving.
+ Familiarity with sustainable and innovative urban design practices.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
