Overview

We are seeking a Financial Performance & Analysis (FP&A) specialist to join the Finance & Analytics Division of Downstream Transformation Office.

The Finance & Analytics Division is responsible to support impact delivery of Aramco's Downstream transformation program across all assets/subsidiaries from a data and tools perspective.

The FP&A specialist primary role is to help ensure adoption of financial guidelines and valuation principles while managing and coordinating close relationships with key related stakeholders, internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Provide the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) with consolidated Transformation Impact report at Business Line/Admin Area/Function/Asset level
  • support the TO Value Realization & Analytics Lead in preparation of the agenda and content for any interactions within and outside the Downstream Central Transformation Office (DSCTO), in collaboration with other functions of the DSCTO
  • prepare material to train admin areas on guidelines for developing upcoming business plan and integration of transformation targets into business plan
  • Review specific initiatives, based on materiality criteria, and raise flags for value leakage, value overlap, etc and spot-check initiatives
  • Generate Excel models, presentations, and reports to support the TO Finance lead in discussions with various assets/admins areas and related stakeholders
  • Update the progress of the Transformation for the Quarterly Business Review, Mid and End Year Accountabilities
  • Support CTO Value Realization & Analytics Lead with the right data, reports and analyses required to make decisions related to certain initiatives
  • As per request, and in collaboration with Admin Area CTO Finance, assist assets on doubts related to initiative sizing, P&L reconciliation or baseline
  • Help other functions in the DS Central Transformation Office in the coordination of several activities with the broader stakeholder group (e.g., capability building, CTO Academy, reporting)

Minimum requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance from a recognized and approved program. Project Management An advanced degree is preferred. Alternatively, the candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and MS in Finance or equivalent.

Candidate will have 15 years of experience in Financial Analysis, including at least 10 years in Downstream industry, preferably in Refining & Chemicals sectors.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop trustworthy relationship with the Business Units to drive financial management and processes.
  • Support operations in preparing P&L projection, analysis of financial viability of new investments and budget follow-up.
  • Organize internal and external reporting; make constructive proposals and act as an internal consultancy to Managing Director, Finance Director and Business units’ Managers to monitor the business.
  • Evaluate business proposals with complete analysis of economic impact on business Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making decisions.
  • Assist in developing Financial Strategic Planning such as the 3-Y Plan Review purchase cycle and analyze the Cash Flow and stock position on regular basis to provide corrective actions if necessary.
  • Prepare variance analysis and recommendations on monthly financial figures from business units compared to budget and last year and issue reports as required by the management.
  • Follow up and control the capital expenditure budgets allocated to the business unit.
  • Monitor the cost structure of the companies’ business units and prepare business profitability analysis.
  • Arrange, observe and control the P&L, balance sheet and recommend action.
  • Provide Internal Control and ensure compliance with all Group Policies and Procedures Prepare and monitor the performance of internal rate of return (IRR) studies for proposed outlets and new products.
  • Prepare the Monthly dashboard, budget revisions and close follow up on: collections, payables, stock, sales and net margin. challenge assumptions and propose revisions.
  • Drive month end closing by analyzing trial balances, researching general ledger activity and variances to budget and prior year.
  • Develop and improve processes related to expenditure, appropriate financial methods to beer evaluate and measure performance

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Master/BA in Finance.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Financial Planning positions of increasing responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the retail sector is a must,preferably in industries such as perfumes, cosmetics, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, analysis techniques, and local regulations.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills & Tools:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of Saudi financial regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with strategic planning, investment analysis, and internal auditing.
  • Exposure to retail, distribution, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic FP&A Manager to lead our budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts. The ideal candidate must hold an FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) certification and demonstrate strong capabilities in financial modeling, business performance analysis, and strategic planning. This role will be instrumental in driving data-backed decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models and reports to support executive decision-making.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, highlighting trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Partner with department heads to monitor KPIs and assess business performance.
  • Prepare financial presentations for leadership, board meetings, and investors (if applicable).
  • Support strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts.
  • Monitor macroeconomic and industry trends and their impact on business performance.
  • Lead financial planning tools implementation or improvements as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • FMVA Certification (by CFI) is mandatory.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
