SummaryAssists in providing medical care in the field of Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Surgery and supervises interns and residents, in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and the hospital’s policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Clinical Responsibilities- Assists the Consultants in providing patient care and management in Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Surgery, following hospital standards.
- Performs assessments, examinations, and compiles case histories; assists in diagnosis and management based on diagnostic criteria.
- Registers medical history, conducts physical exams, develops management plans, and follows up with patients; records orders and notes.
- Provides on-call coverage for Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Surgery on a rotational basis, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Participates in ward rounds, documents findings, and discusses cases with the team.
- Follows up on investigations and adjusts treatments as needed.
- Attends clinics, outpatient services, and participates in on-call duties.
- Performs additional clinical duties as assigned.
- Provides orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows.
- Keeps updated with latest techniques in Kidney & Pancreas Transplant Surgery and applies them to improve standards.
- Engages in departmental educational activities and training programs.
- Participates in national and international medical conferences.
- Participates in clinical, basic, and translational research projects; publishes findings to contribute to the hospital's recognition and knowledge advancement.
Graduation from a recognized medical school, completion of postgraduate training in a relevant specialty/subspecialty, with Saudi/American Board or equivalent certification as approved by the Medical Staff Credentialing Committee.
Experience RequiredMinimum of two (2) years of training in a specialty or subspecialty, plus post-training experience.

Graduation from a recognized medical school, completion of postgraduate training in a specialty/subspecialty, with Saudi/American Board, Canadian, UK certification, or equivalent as approved by the Medical Staff Credentialing Committee.
