Requirements

· Responsible for all aspects of Quality Control as directed by the Quality Superintendent, witnessing tests and inspections required by job orders and/or random surveillance inspection on AI Jawf Class Minehunters undergoing repair, alterations or conversions as well as maintenance activity in accordance with the RSNF maintenance management system.
· Conducts assigned inspections and witnesses sea trials.
· Witnesses tests as specified in the work authorisations.
· Collect and evaluates results of inspections and test data.
· Provides instruction to shop personnel in Quality Control Inspection and Test
· Perform other duties as assigned on AI Jawf Class Minehunters.
· To observe confidentiality of RSNF data at all times.

Job Requirements:
· A Qualification in Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) techniques.
· Ordinary National Certificate, Time Served Trade (Mechanical & Electrical) or equivalent professional qualification, or a combination of training and experience, which provides an equivalent educational standard.
· Six (6) years' experience in an engineering position (Mechanical & Electrical), including three (3) years in the field of QA and QC disciplines
· Practical experience in shop floor Quality Control techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication essential, including the ability to write comprehensive technical reports in English
