Provide optimal solutions for electrical & instrumentation engineering projects as well as participate in over-all up keep of the plant equipment.
1) Conduct pump performance testing of ITT Saudi-IP pumps and testing of any other pumps associated with the aftermarket business.
2) Manage the up-keep of the ITT Saudi Test Stand ensuring proper maintenance of the data acquisition system; instruments calibration; and periodic check of the VFD’s.
3) Manage the maintenance program and up-keep of the plant utilities such as electric distribution, emergency gen-set, central compressor / pneumatic supply, domestic water supply, lighting, HVAC, and other utilities.
4) Assume other responsibilities that will be assigned by management from time to time.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Handle electrical and instrumentation projects from conceptualization to detailing of the design; implementation; testing and handover. Participate in the shop equipment maintenance program.
- Liaise with customer the conduct interpretation of the pump tests such as:
- Hydraulic Performance
- Mechanical Endurance
- NPSH
- Manage technical aspects of the Test Stand. Be able to conduct short training to explain the hydraulics related to tests.
- Establish and maintain procedures for tests in compliance to industry standards.
- Manage the maintenance program and up-keep of the plant utilities such as electric distribution, emergency gen-set, central compressor / pneumatic supply, domestic water supply, lighting, HVAC, and other utilities.
- Design, configuration, integration and installation of process control systems for pump-motor skids based on customer requirements.
- Support our engineering team in preparation of bill of materials and technical data sheet for instrumentation and electrical project packages.
- Supervise all in house and outsourced electrical and instrumentation activities like skid cable pulling, conduit installation, cable bus installation, instrument installation, instrument termination, instrument configuration and Junction box installation.
- Ensure project electrical and instrumentation installations comply with project documentation, standards, permits and regulation as per applicable standards.
- Trouble shoot electrical and instrumentation issues on plant equipment’s like lathe machines, CNC machines and test bed data acquisition system.
- Support the senior test bed engineer at our factory test bed to perform pump hydraulic factory acceptance test
- Support the senior test bed engineer in the execution of facility equipment’s maintenance program.
- Provide technical support for field service team to trouble shoot electrical and instrumentation issues on pump-motor skids at site.
Position Requirements**:Education**: BSEE or 4 year technical (engineering, preferred) degree in electro-mechanical.

Advising the sub-suppliers installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the work force necessary to comply with the schedule.
Cooperating with Hitachi Energy Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non-completed work.
Inspection of arriving material for completeness and possible damage and coordination of material handling in cooperation with sub-suppliers Material Control within sub-suppliers' procedures.
Issuing non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within Hitachi Energy scope of supply in cooperation with Hitachi Energy Project Manager.
Supervising final installation tests and Hitachi Energy installation completion documentation. Supervising and coordinating the loop check activities & Participation at site meetings as requested by the Hitachi Energy -CH Project Manager.
Responsible for the competence execution of his tasks. Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.

Your background
A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or high diploma.
Minimum 8+ Years of working experience with GIS preferred.
Experience with SF6 GAS-Handling. HE-CH GIS Product knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
