- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers, channels, and Sales Specialists about ABB products, systems, and applications; and performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
- Responsible for developing technically competitive solutions for motor and generator base services with modernization offerings, analyzing ABB's motor and generator installed base in Saudi Arabia to propose maintenance programs.
- Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities, resolving specific customer problems, and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals-including volume targets and profitable growth-across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
- Tracking pipeline for motor service business and working on innovative ways to improve hit rate and solution offerings
- Visiting customers and collaborate with sales for solution sales related to motor services
- Having complete understanding of Saudi Arabia market and position winning solutions to customers

Qualifications for the Role
- You are engaged in Motion service tools and the growing market in Saudi Arabia, with over 10 years of experience in the motor service field, possessing enhanced knowledge of motor sizing, motor field service, and motor maintenance.
- You are passionate about sales, technical solutions, energy efficiency, and decarbonization, and hold a bachelor's degree in engineering with a demonstrated track record and extensive knowledge of motor services and workshop services for motors.
- You are at ease communicating in English, with Arabic as a plus, and you hold a valid work permit in Saudi Arabia; you are knowledgeable in Motsize, vibration solutions, motor internal parts, motor preventive maintenance, motor design, motor engineering, and motor applications.
- You are an expert in Salesforce CRM tools and Microsoft Office, with experience in delivering technical presentations at sites related to motors.

You as a Tender & Quotation Senior Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the Company.

Read tender specifications, propose the most economical technical solutions to customer requirements & prepare complete material costing, sales price and technical documentations as per the tender requirements.
Collects and archives documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development process. Regularly reports the status of the bids/estimates/quotations using defined tools and collects and analyses the reasons for tenders being lost and won.
Support sales team in technical clarifications for the submitted offers during bidding stage or order stage. Capable of technical clarification meetings with the clients independently.
Identifies potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. Provides information and/or participates in the Risk Review process in accordance with Company policy.
Requires thorough technical knowledge of Company product lines especially H.V. Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements.
Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Provides any necessary technical support to Sales Managers during technical meetings with customers.
Review / Finalize the EPC order technically & commercially in co-ordination with the related sales engineer.
Should be capable in managing the set target dates & timely work completion.
Efficient communication skills to influence internal & external stakeholders.
Manages the preparation of all technical (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g. total price sheet, cash flow analysis) and if necessary, project management (e.g. quantifies hours of engineering and commissioning) aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
