Role Purpose:
To ensure quality standards are effectively implemented and maintained across Citiscape’s infrastructure, landscaping, and design projects. The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting materials, workmanship, and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations on mega/giga projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance & Inspection
- Conduct inspections on-site to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and installation methods for infrastructure and landscaping elements.
- Monitor construction activities, ensuring that QA/QC procedures are followed throughout all phases of the project.
2. Project-Specific QA/QC Implementation
- Support quality planning, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) implementation, and document control.
- Review and verify subcontractor and supplier quality compliance.
- Participate in material submittal reviews and sample approvals.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and quality records.
- Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation including checklists, method statements, and inspection logs.
- Support preparation for internal and external audits.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and client representatives on quality issues.
- Assist in resolving technical and quality-related issues on-site.
- Support QA/QC Engineers and the Quality Manager in achieving project quality objectives.
5. Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant international and local standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Promote a quality-focused culture on-site through ongoing communication and awareness.
- Identify areas of improvement and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in QA/QC, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
Certifications:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
- Additional QA/QC-related certifications are an advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience in infrastructure, landscaping, or public realm projects .
- Must have direct exposure to mega/giga projects such as Qiddiya, Roshn, Red Sea, King Salman Park, Green Riyadh , or similar high-profile developments.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishing standards, and landscaping methods used in large-scale projects.
- Excellent knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and inspection techniques
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, method statements, and ITPs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with quality software tools and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment
