We are seeking a Technology Consultant to join Global Manufacturing Excellence Digitalization and Technology Division (D&TD). GME is the recognized Center of Excellence driving value across Saudi Aramco’s Downstream Global manufacturing portfolio. D&TD is responsible for leading the technology function collaborating across various downstream functions and at a corporate level.

Your primary role is to support the development and deployment of technology management programs aimed at providing technical support across Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing portfolio. You will ideate, introduce, deploy and sustain novel and innovative technological solutions within various domains including reliability, maintenance, sustainability, energy and process.

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Technologies across the downstream portfolio including petrochemical facilities, refineries, terminals and bulk plants as well as gas plants.
• Develop comprehensive value adding technology roadmaps aligned to business challenges such as energy optimization, sustainability, plant availability, debottlenecking and process optimization.
• Accelerate technology deployment working closely with internal and external execution agencies and vendors.
• Conduct feasibility studies including technical and economic evaluation of solutions, platforms, and new technologies.

• Stay abreast of global and regional Oil and Gas industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact technology implementations.

As a successful candidate you will hold a:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering). A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15 years of experience as a Technology Consultant ideating, scouting, introducing and tracking value added technology deployment.
• Good understanding of downstream technologies, including but not limited to refinery processes.
• Experience in developing business case and benefit/cost analysis for downstream technology.
• Experience in working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, across the project lifecycle fostering effective communication and cooperation.
• Able to demonstrate excellent understanding of management of change, engineering and design package as well as regulatory, risk mitigation and safety requirements.
• Experience in change management, including developing and implementing technology changes.
