Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Design Director to join our team in Riyadh In this role you will oversee the technical aspects of residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects. This leadership role ensures designs are executed effectively, technical standards are maintained, and project specifications align with the highest quality and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leads a team in the execution of technical solutions for initiatives and projects.
- Resolves obstacles that could slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external partner organizations.
- Liaises with other teams to contribute to integrated programs and strategic initiatives.
- Develops innovative solutions that directly supports the business growth strategy.
- Leads team development, ensuring there is proper understanding/applying of regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provides technical oversight.
- Stays up to date with current trends and developments.
- Develops technical talent.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in construction, design management, or engineering, with at least 8 years in a technical leadership role.
- Extensive experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
