The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will lead and coordinate all site-based technical functions, including Mine Planning, Geotechnical Engineering, Ventilation, Surveying, Hydrogeology, and the Assay Laboratory.
This is a strategic leadership role supporting both operational performance and project development. The successful candidate will deliver technical solutions that ensure safe production, cost efficiency, and long-term value across a diverse mining environment—spanning underground copper and zinc stoping, narrow-vein gold, and both greenfield and brownfield developments.
Working closely with the Mine Manager, Project and Study Teams, and third-party consultants, the incumbent will provide input into mine designs, studies, infrastructure layouts, and development schedules. A key focus is supporting future underground expansions and ensuring all technical functions are aligned with the Life of Mine (LoM) strategy.
Please note: Geology and resource modelling fall under a separate Geology Manager.
The Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide strategic leadership across the Technical Services function to ensure operational support aligns with business objectives, production targets, and company values.

The Requirements

Job Description
- Specialized in Technical services / fleet development functions in Structures/ interiors, systems/ avionics and Reliability.
- Manages the operation of avionics and systems section and ensure the deliverables of Avionics and Systems Technical Services engineers are as per the guidelines of their job description. This includes liaison with internal sections, external manufacturers, subcontracted MROs and Aircraft lessors on all matters relating to the required avionics and systems engineering standards as directed by the Technical Services Manager.
- Ensures Aircraft compliance with all regulatory and manufacturers requirements, and to apply scientific and technological principles to maintain, modify and test performance of aircraft, systems, and components for full operation, involving regular inspections, maintenance and servicing.
- Conducts assessment and evaluation of SBs and ADs with related to avionics and systems and ensures they are covered in the company's proper documentation.
- Manage material ordering, implementing and planning coordination. _Ensure timely reporting of Service bulletin compliance to OEMs.
- Coordinates with OEM in troubleshooting of aircraft problems with maintenance.
- Manage projects assigned by Technical Services Manager.
- Assist in investigation of aircraft incidents and accidents.
- Coordinates with aircraft and component manufacturer to resolve technical problems.
- Ensures compatibility and accuracy of manufacturer and vendor technical documents with flynas fleet and requesting updates and corrections whenever necessary.
- Represents FLYNAS in manufacturers and vendors seminars, conferences, engineering working group, and industry steering committees.
- Providing engineering support to line and base maintenance, materials, and operation departments.x
