Our product managers are technology professionals with a software engineering background who strive to become business executives and entrepreneurs. We discuss strategy, plan product development, drive engagement, and promote the open source way. We oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery, blending technical expertise, strategic thinking, analytics, project management skills and effective communication to ensure products meet both user needs and business objectives.

We have open product manager roles across a wide range of product domains, including:

  • Ubuntu Platform - Our Ubuntu experience on Desktop, Server, Windows (WSL), Multipass, Gaming, Enterprise, & Hardware Enablement
  • Ubuntu Pro Services - Our key commercial offerings Ubuntu Pro, Compliance, Standards, Security Engineering, and Managed Services on cloud and on prem
  • AI/ML & MLOps - Open source AI/ML solutions, AIOps automation, model lifecycle management, Kubeflow, MLFlow, KServe, and AI infrastructure on cloud and edge
  • IoT - Ubuntu on embedded devices and/or edge servers, device management, and robotics
  • Cloud - Ubuntu in public and private clouds, promoting automation frameworks, and including technologies such as Kubernetes, MAAS, and LXD
  • Telco - Open source for Telco's including technologies and standards related to Core Network, RAN/vRAN, SoNIC, DENT, and SmartNICs
  • Finance - Open source solutions for financial institutions including trading platforms, blockchain technologies, regulatory compliance, and AI-driven analytics
  • Automotive - Open source solutions for autonomous driving, in-vehicle infotainment, connected vehicles, and compliance with automotive industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
  • Application Management - Open source solutions in the enterprise including Observability, IAM, App Stores and technologies such Grafana, GitOps, and Juju Charms

Location: These roles are home based in the EMEA time zone. You will be expected to be located in this region.

The role entails

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing the priorities and goals for your product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales
  • Address common challenges across projects, align on priorities, enable informed decisions, and keep business execution on track
  • Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities
  • Communicate your product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment and manage expectations
  • Conduct usability testing, analyse user feedback, and iterate on the product to improve the user experience
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to develop go-to-market strategies, create product documentation, and provide training
  • Contribute to the success of our sales team in winning new opportunities, reviewing customer feedback and participating in customer meetings
  • Oversee the work of a product line, ensuring consistency in strategy and execution across different teams
  • Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts within different teams and across other departments

We are seeking aSalesforce Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the development, enhancement, and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. This unique hybrid role combines strategic product management with hands-on technical development responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Define and own the product roadmap for Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.), aligned with business objectives.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, product specs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature delivery in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Monitor and report on product performance metrics, adoption, and feedback.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and IT.

Technical Leadership & Development

  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers and architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
  • Contribute to the development process with hands-on work where appropriate—such as building flows, custom objects, Apex classes, Lightning components, and integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Own technical documentation for product features, data models, and architecture.
  • Ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and deployment best practices.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and proactively suggest relevant innovations.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a product management role, preferably in SaaS or enterprise environments.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, etc.).
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical products using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security principles.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical) and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience with DevOps tools for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and test automation within Salesforce environments.

As a Technical Product Manager you will combine classic product management skills with a deep understanding of technical architecture. This role actively participates in solving engineering and business problems on a daily basis.

The product is our in-house self-service Scoring platform designed for analysts and developers from the risk and product teams - and it’s the one you’ll be leading and taking to the next level. You will be the owner of the roadmap, responsible for the full cycle of the product development process from strategy, quarterly OKRs setting to launch.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 4+ years of experience as a Platform Product Manager or Technical Product Manager
  • Nice to have: prior experience as an Enterprise Architect, Development Team Lead, or Engineering Manager, combined with experience in Product Management
  • Product Skills:
    • Strong skills in problem identification, solution design, and prioritization
    • Experience in creating product vision and strategy, setting and tracking OKRs
    • Ability to build a metrics tree and define key product metrics
  • Technical Skills:
    • Solid business and system analysis skills with a broad technical perspective
    • Ability to assess whether a proposed solution architecture meets requirements, and to challenge architectural decisions when necessary
    • Experience designing architectural concepts, data models, and APIs
    • Understanding of CI/CD processes
    • Experience evaluating the technical quality of a product and its delivery processes, including technical monitoring and reliability practices
  • Communication:
    • Strong verbal and written English skills (at least B2)

Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting & innovation services in payments and beyond, data insights and analytics solutions as well as loyalty and marketing programs and platforms.

Within the Services organization, the Business & Market Insights product organization is focused on creating and delivering superior products and services that equip our clients with the right data-powered solutions, insights, and advisory services, to drive confident decision-making for better outcomes. This team is accountable for ensuring we are growing our business through thoughtful product road mapping that evolves our solution sets to meet existing and new use cases, influencing global product managers to ensure the solutions in region are effective and partnering with our Services Business Development and Client Services teams to drive relevant go-to-market solutions for our customers in the region.

This role is responsible for the presales and management of Advanced Analytics products in EEMEA region with a special focus on West Arabia division while supporting the broader EEMEA B&MI Advanced Analytics product management team for region-wide initiatives.

Key responsibilities of this role include :

  • Owning and driving the P&L aspirations of the Advanced Analytics products in EEMEA, in close coordination with the regional Services business leads and specialist sales teams in the region.
  • Determining and driving forward the product innovation agenda and product roadmap in partnership with the global product leads and regional stakeholders.
  • Ensuring successful commercialization of new and existing solutions in collaboration with the business development teams and client services teams in the region incl. providing specialist sales support, driving marketing and thought leadership initiatives
  • Ensuring flawless delivery of the product and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our customer relationships
  • Interface with Mastercard leadership across the organization to represent the suite of capabilities and products
  • Monitor external environment to ensure our solutions remain market leading / competitive

  • Experience with data, advanced analytics, AI, technology platforms, and emerging trends
  • Proven track record in leading and growing product line P&Ls
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Drives a collaborative culture across global and regional teams towards desired outcomes
  • Interest in advanced analytics & technology and desire to apply technology to solve problems
  • Communicates with impact and demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives in a matrixed multi-cultural environment
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry (retail banking, digital payments) and the non-financial services sector (retail & commerce, digital players)
  • Intellectually curious and passionate about new applications, technologies and solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree required
