We are looking for a FEED & Technical Leader (Engineering Manager) to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is accountable for the management of the engineering team deployed on various projects. Engineering support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

The FEED & Technical Leader will also be heavily involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills) Required
  • At least 15 years of prior experience in the FEED, EPC as well as front end part of the engineering development (FEL1 and FEL2) for onshore and offshore upstream projects (Onshore/Offshore).
  • PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
Qualifications:
  • An Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline.

Review variation orders to service providers.

Participate in the handing over of the work with projects department after carrying out renovation works (new or major) and construction of new facilities that we will be added to FM Scope of Work.

Participate in technical negotiation with service providers within the facilities under his responsibility.

Coordinate with the service providers to prepare and update requested reports for the planned preventive, corrective maintenance activities, incidents, and assessments to be provided to Facility Management.

Monitor the compliance of deliverables to be in line with ALJ entities facility representative inputs & requirements.

Inspect and test MEP systems to ensure that they are operating properly.

Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.

Resolve any disputes or disagreements that may arise between the facility and the maintenance contractor.

Ensure contract condition with the maintenance contractor are applied, including ensuring that payments are made on time.

Coordinate the work of the maintenance contractor with other contractors who may be working on the site, such as construction contractors.

Ensure that the maintenance contractor is following all applicable safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed within the facilities under his responsibility and ensure that 100% of maintenance work is accurately documented.
