**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Technical Training Advisor** **(Saudi National)** to join our team! In this role you will lead the establishment and early-stage development of a vocational training academy by providing strategic guidance on program design, infrastructure, and operational planning. This role also includes delivering high-quality technical training in alignment with industry standards, while helping to build the foundational systems, teams, and partnerships needed to ensure long-term success. The advisor will play a key role in bridging technical expertise with workforce development goals to meet the needs of both industry and government stakeholders.
The Technical Training Advisor reports directly to H.E. the CEO of JCPDI. The role works closely with internal and externally contracted teams, including instructors, curriculum developers, and support staff. It also interfaces with senior management, city investors, industry partners, government agencies, external training providers, and community organizations. These relationships are critical to ensuring that the academy's programs align with strategic workforce development objectives and meet the evolving needs of stakeholders
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Lead the planning, design, and establishment of vocational and technical training programs tailored to industry and national workforce needs.
+ Deliver specialized technical training sessions in engineering and industrial safety based on practical experience and industry standards.
+ Define program structures, training pathways, and certification models in alignment with local and international best practices.
+ Advise on the design and setup of training facilities, including technical labs, classrooms, and equipment specifications.
+ Develop and implement training policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems to ensure regulatory compliance and consistent delivery.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields is required.
+ An advanced degree such as a Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering or related fields is highly desirable.
+ Additional certifications in training, instructional design, or workforce development are a plus.
+ At least 15 years of experience in engineering, technical training, or related fields.
+ Minimum 5 years in a leadership or advisory role, preferably in training or workforce development.

What We Need From You

• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and advising using GUI and CLI for Linux.
• Ability to multitask and react well under pressure in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, organizational, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills with not only your immediate group, but with other internal and customer facing groups.

It Would Be Nice If You Had

• Assist in developing drafts and revisions for reports, manuals, white papers, and other internal and external technical content.

• Work directly with project managers, engineers, and SMEs to review content, illustrations, and materials, recommending improvements for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and grammatical construction.

• Recast text as needed, subject to review by the author/requestor.

• Coordinate document production schedules with other technical writers, authors, and required resources, ensuring conformance to deadlines and specifications.

• Review and verify materials after reproduction to ensure conformance to the printer’s dummy.

• Serve as part of a functional team or work independently to complete assignments according to scheduled deadlines.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position, as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

• Minimum 5+ years of technical writing experience, with expertise in system documentation and process documentation.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance with project and client requirements.

• Ability to interview SMEs to gather technical information and translate it into clear, concise documentation.

• Strong attention to detail, with expertise in reviewing documents for typographical, spelling, grammatical, punctuation, acronym callout, sentence structure, and active/passive voice issues.

• Comfortable collaborating with people from a variety of disciplines and asking questions to ensure understanding.

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask, supporting multiple projects and quickly shifting priorities.

• Experience with Office 365 (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
