As an ARM instructor, you will be part of NOV’s international technical environment serving customers worldwide. Prepare and deliver courses for both customer and internal training for all Electro-technical subjects (Siemens PLC, ABB VFD, NOV Control Systems Amphion/ Cyberbase, and NOV drilling equipment TD, IR, DW, MP etc.)
Primary Responsibilities
- Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements that will fulfil the customer/internal needs.
- Produce training schedules and classroom training.
- Products training onsite onshore/offshore.
- Determine course content according to objectives
- Prepare/develop training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
- Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
- Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
- Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
- Observe and evaluate results of training programs
- Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
- Maintain hands-on training equipment/simulators solutions
- Update and maintain training curriculum, files, and documentation. Participate in equipment selection for hands on activities in the class
- Begin every class with a safety brief.
- Undertake domestic, international, and offshore travel for field training courses as required to train customers
- Ensure all administrative classroom related tasks are complete prior to and after the class is finished
- Ensure that goods and services are produced to standard of quality in accordance with the relevant departmental procedures and work instructions.
- Review development and implementation of initiatives for improving the quality of products and services.
- Demonstrate ability to work professionally with patience and diplomacy. Establish good communications and relationships

- Proven experience as technical instructor Preferred.
- Experience in designing technical course content.

- Degree in a relevant electrical technical field.
