We seek an experienced Technical Expert/Client Liaison Engineer specializing in structural engineering for airport projects. This role involves working with a site-based team led by the Engineering Director, coordinating structural design and construction oversight, and serving as a key liaison with clients and stakeholders. You will report to the Building Assets Director.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding structural designs and construction.
- Organize and participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and technical challenges.
- Translate technical details into clear information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate data collection and interfaces with airport and other designers.

Parsons is looking for an experienced Technical Design Manager to join our team! In this role, you will manage and coordinate the technical delivery of design packages across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery in line with client expectations and project goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing and coordinating the execution of design deliverables across multiple projects.
Supporting Project Managers and Design Managers in developing and implementing resource plans.
Overseeing the preparation of technical documentation including drawings, reports, and tender packages.
Participating in design reviews, value engineering workshops, and technical coordination meetings.
Ensuring compliance of designs with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Monitoring progress and performance of the design team against schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
Supporting the resolution of technical challenges during design development.
Promoting digital engineering workflows and quality assurance processes.
Assisting with internal knowledge sharing, mentoring, and development of standard procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline with 15+ years of experience in design and technical coordination roles.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
