Job Purpose
Lead the creation of complex engineering solutions and acts as a technical and technological authority in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction within the tendering and Quotations environment to provide safe, technically compliant technical solutions to our clients ITT requirements.
Job Description
- Provide safe, reliable, and technically compliant solutions for our client ITTs.
- Ensure proposals in line with requirements in terms of design for safety
- Ensure cost, lead time and risk for projects are accurately estimated, an clearly communicated ot the management team such that correct strategic decisions can be taken
- Ensure all costing and quotation work required to meet bit requirements are fully covered and communicated to management
- Execute all quotation related activities including (creation, submission, collection, recording, and/or
updating).
- Correspond with all various bodies involved in completing quotation (Commercial, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Planning, Execution project managers).
- Build, maintain, and manage customer relationships and keep up good Communications
- Provide weekly, monthly, yearly report on all submitted quotations with status of each in terms of both Technical offering and TRL
- Present and review designs during internal design meetings, prepare, review, and approve technical documents and drawings in accordance with design standards.
- Ensure compliance to TechnipFMC guidelines, commercial policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
You are meant for this job if:
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:
- BEng Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum) or equivalent degree and/or diploma
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Detailed knowledge of Wellhead and Completion equipment.
- Detailed Understanding of API 6A and other relevant Surface wellhead industry specification
- Skilled in creating engineering documentation and Bill of Materials
- Expert in Engineering Drawing, Dimensioning, & Tolerancing
- Skilled in Materials Science
- Skilled in manufacturing engineering
Desirable Skills
- Knowledgeable in 3D Modeling and Drafting Standards (NX or Equivalent)
- Skilled in TechnipFMC core applications, databases, and processes
- Skilled in MS Office
