Parsons are seeking a highly experienced Airfield Technical Advisor to provide expert guidance and oversight on the design, construction, and commissioning of airfield infrastructure within a landmark aviation development project.
This role ensures that all airfield systems—pavements, lighting, markings, drainage, navigational aids, and fueling systems—are designed and delivered in accordance with international aviation standards. The ideal candidate brings extensive technical knowledge in airfield systems and operations, with prior experience supporting large-scale airport or military airbase developments.
What You’ll Be Doing- Review and validate design and construction methodologies for runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airside infrastructure.
- Provide technical input to ensure compliance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, and/or GACA standards.
- Assess constructability, maintainability, and safety of proposed airfield solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align airfield requirements with project delivery.
- Advise on phasing, access, and interface planning between airside and landside operations.
- Oversee quality control of key airfield components such as pavements, markings, lighting, and airfield ground lighting systems (AGL).
