**Purpose of Role**: The role mainly focuses on the Statutory and Tax Requirements and reporting support

**Reports to**:KSA Finance Lead

**Grade**:Senior Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Support seniors to manage and oversee operations of local and outsourced accounting processes which includes month and year-end process, AP/AR, general ledger and balance reconciliations, capital assets reconciliations
- Assist in establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles which should include regular review, analysis and reconciliation of general ledger; continuous systems review, provide recommendations, improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions
- Assist in creation and maintenance of compliance calendar ensuring timely submission of external financial reporting deliverables
- Assist in analysis of statutory reports and commentaries
- Work collaboratively with regional and offshore shared services team to achieve reporting deadlines with accuracy and integrity
- Support seniors with liaising with internal and external auditors with respect to financial audits/ICV audits and coordinating with other parts of Finance and Business to provide audit requirements
- Actively participate on month end close to identify and post statutory ledger adjustments
- Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements and related audit schedules
- Assist in preparation of information requested by reporting authorities
- Assist in preparation of statements and carry out reporting as per requirement in each country
- Submission of VAT returns
- Regularly review VAT GL accounts and transactions to ensure that VAT are properly recorded
- Communicate to AP team or billing team any issues identified during review together with proposed corrective action
- Help facilitate and manage the preparation and review of company tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of income tax returns and other business related filings
- Manage and facilitate income tax audits, preparing responses, creating schedules, etc
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation
- Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects
- Provide support in reviewing tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections
- Provide or arrange to provide advise from an Accounting, Statutory, Tax reporting perspective that may be required by engagement teams or other functions in carrying out their respective tasks
- Supporting in Adhoc requests from the Finance team and service line Leadership team

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Knowledge of KSA tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience in tax planning, compliance, and reporting for businesses operating within the KSA.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in liaising with tax authorities and handling tax audits is a plus

About the role:

Tabby is transforming how businesses access credit, enabling merchants to grow with smarter payment and financing solutions. We're looking for a Statutory Reporting & Tax Lead to drive financial reporting excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage all statutory and tax obligations for our KSA operations. The role will be critical in safeguarding financial integrity, supporting audit readiness, and strengthening Tabby's standing with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements for Tabby KSA in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage annual external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring timely audit completion.
  • Oversee corporate tax, Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax compliance, including accurate calculation, filing, and payment within regulatory deadlines.
  • Calculate and record monthly and year-end tax provisions, ensuring completeness and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Manage direct relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities, including ZATCA, MOCI, and SAMA.
  • Substantiate all tax-related and statutory general ledger accounts through regular reconciliations and robust audit documentation.
  • Prepare and submit prudential financial reporting to SAMA in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in IFRS, local GAAP, and tax laws, and ensure timely implementation of required adjustments in reporting and filings.
  • Support group-level financial reporting and consolidation processes by providing accurate statutory and tax data for Tabby KSA.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the statutory reporting and tax compliance processes, strengthening internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain full audit-ready documentation to support tax positions, statutory disclosures, and regulatory submissions.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5-7 years of experience in statutory reporting, tax compliance, or external audit, preferably in a fintech, bank, or Big 4 environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and Saudi Tax Regulations (Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax).
  • Proven experience in leading statutory audits and preparing IFRS financial statements with local adjustments.
  • Experience in handling regulatory submissions to authorities such as ZATCA, MOCI, and SAMA.

  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or ADIT are highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (Oracle NetSuite is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal).

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, put in place the necessary standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate and drive performance-improvement solutions. You will also assist the team generating new business opportunities and build client networks for our GCR client base to grow in the region.

You will create, lead and motivate high performing teams and build a positive learning culture, coaching and counseling junior team members to help them develop. You will assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to our Tax Quality guidelines.

Skills and attributes for success

If you are an excellent communicator and detail oriented professional with a strong track record of management experience who is comfortable working across borders with a wide network of people and with large amount of data, you will be perfect for the role.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation or any related essential fields.
  • MBA, Masters or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent qualification.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible to support finance function by timely processing of journal entries, preparing required information and reports in line with internal and external requirements. The Financial Reporting Manager’s role is to use financial data to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and report financial status and performance of the organization to ensure correct basis for required company reporting as well as prioritizing initiatives and right decisions.

This position is based in Jeddah & will report to the Financial Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Support manager in monthly, tertiary, and annual controlling and reporting process by completing and analysing closing of accounts.

  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and effective internal control are in place.

  • Assist manager in preparing and maintaining a sustainable financial reporting process with an analysis of key financial information in order to support management in making well-informed decisions.

  • Perform cost / expense analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts to improve the status.

  • Support the finance team by coordinating relevant schedules related to financial reporting to generate accurate data and reports.

  • Perform assigned tasks as required across the Finance function (e. g. accounting tasks, Analysis,reporting, etc.).

  • Monitor cash flow by reviewing the Cash Flow statements to ensure optimum utilisation of working capital. Liaise and coordinate with banks for available credit facilities.
