Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Testing & Commissioning / Systems Integration Director to join our team In this role you will get to provide direction and management for medium-sized projects, or several small projects, and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for the scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. Typically manages projects up to $100 million in total installed cost.

  • Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
  • Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
  • Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
  • Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
  • Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
  • Markets and secures additional work with client.
  • Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
  • Responsible for the development and distribution of a project summary to all members of the project team for reference.
  • Provides input on performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
  • Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
  • Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.
  • Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.

  • Knowledge of asset management principles, ISO55001 and CMMS tools, particularly Maximo
  • Expert knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Proven experience in asset performance monitoring and data analysis.
  • Knowledgeable of Asset configuration change principles
  • Familiarity with technological tools used in asset management.
  • Understanding of Railway Assets (rolling stock and infrastructure) is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel.

Job Description

Purpose:

To provide a professional and effective service to building management monitoring.

Responsibilities / Duties:


• Responsible for the operation and monitoring of electronic building management equipment involving energy, critical safety and maintenance management systems.


• Prepare and produce reports in respect of the operation of BMS, as required.


• Keep accurate and timely records of servicing of plant and equipment, also planned preventative maintenance system and site asset register.


• Receive data for processing by building management system. Accurate data entry.


• Accesses and edits high priority files, programs, applications and modifies specialized software.


• Carry out training in equipment operation and in use of maintenance management systems components, procedures and applications.


• Develops and maintains operating procedures manual.


• Perform minor repairs/modifications as appropriate, document incidents correctly and promptly.


• Flexibility to work to shift patterns as and when required. Flexible availability for 24/7 rostered standby duties and emergency call outs.


• Operate a 24/7 emergency response desk. Coordinate emergency action.


• Immediately notify the supervisor of any safety issues or concerns. Maintain a safe place of work. Health and Safety policies and practices are essential to this role and are a condition of employment.
• Strong teamwork ethic and promotion of customer service excellence. Strong customer service focus.


• Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.


• Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair.


• Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law.

Education / Qualifications:


• Minimum certificate or diploma in relevant field.


• Recognized certificated course in BMS.

Experience:


• Minimum 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience in one or more of the following: HVAC controls, computerized building management systems (BMS), electrical / mechanical services and emergency systems.
