We are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant with a minimum of 15 years of experience
to develop, lead, and grow our Environmental Consultancy Department. The successful
candidate will be responsible for establishing the department's operations, service portfolio, and

Key Responsibilities :
Department Development & Leadership:
- Establish the environmental consultancy department, defining its service scope,
operational workflows, and quality management systems.
- Build, train, and lead a team of environmental specialists, consultants, and project
managers.
- Develop the department's business plan and align it with company goals and Saudi
Vision 2030 sustainability initiatives.
Project Delivery & Technical Leadership:
- Oversee and deliver Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental and
Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), baseline surveys, feasibility studies, and permitting
support.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian environmental regulations (e.g., NCW, MEWA,
NCEC) and international standards.
- Provide expert guidance on environmental permitting, regulatory submissions,
stakeholder engagement, and environmental management planning.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead client engagements, including multinational corporations and large industrial
players.
- Prepare and review technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Represent the company in meetings with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders.
Business Development:
- Identify market opportunities, build client relationships, and support business
development initiatives for environmental consultancy services.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to pursue new projects and partnerships.
Requirements
:
Minimum 15-20 years of experience in environmental consultancy, with proven
leadership in managing EIA/ESIA projects.
Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian environmental regulations and local permitting
processes.
Experience working with multinational companies across sectors such as oil & gas,
petrochemicals, mining, or infrastructure.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering,
Environmental Management, or a related field.
Strong leadership, project management, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, proposal writing, and client-facing abilities (English fluency
required; Arabic a plus).
Preferred:
Professional certifications (e.g., IEMA, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, PMP).
Prior experience establishing or growing an environmental department or consultancy
practice.
Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 environmental and sustainability goals.
