The Environmental and Sustainability Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the implementation of all environmental and sustainability requirements during the construction phase.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead handover meetings with the contractor's sustainability and environmental teams to communicate project-specific targets, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
- Clarify applicable sustainability credits and environmental performance requirements.

- Ensure understanding of multi-building project approach and credit applicability.

Personal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, or related field; master's preferred.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in sustainability roles within large-scale construction supervision projects.
- Professional accreditation in at least one sustainability rating system (e.g., LEED AP, Mostadam, GSAS, BREEAM, etc.).
- Proven experience in managing sustainability compliance during construction, with hands-on knowledge of documentation, audits, and contractor coordination.

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented
In this role you will be part of the Energy Performance Services team based in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, your role will be including but not limited to.
Sales & Presales:
- Develop sales leads following the strategy and market approach set by sales management.
- Identify value-added services & solutions to customers and prepare sales slides deck for customer orientation.
- Approach targeted customers and schedule sales meetings.
- Identify customer pain-points and come-up with working proposal concept which fits customers' budget and needs.
- Prepare sales funnel with estimated winning weight for each sales lead / opportunity.
- Bids preparation and analysis from the date of bid receiving till bid submission.
- Align with technical team to develop the technical solution based on customer needs.
- Align with execution team for execution requirements and timelines.
- Prepare BoQ for the developed solutions and prepare materials / services costing.
- Align with procurement for 3rd materials / services costing.
- Prepare for all needed internal / external approvals with internal / external stakeholders.
- Prepare the technical / commercial proposal analysis and writeups.
- Follow up the sales cycle and post-bid requirements with customers.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid
- Expected degree qualification and/or major of Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Relevant year of experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience in sales.
- Knowledge of expertise: Energy efficiency, sustainability, green buildings, renewable energy.
- Any required certification: Certified Energy Manager is a plus.
- Personal skills: Communication skills, self-dependent, quick learning.
- Language skills: Fluent in English, Arabic speaker is a plus.

ABOUT YOU

- You have a diploma in environmental specialization.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience related to environment and/or sustainability.
- You are certified as a Technician by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Previous experience in any of the following fields is a plus:
- Environmental Consulting/Consultancy,
- Environmental impact assessment,
- Environmental Social Impact Assessment,
- ESG or Sustainability field.
- Experience in climate change related assignments, including climate change mitigation, climate risk assessment, climate change adaptation and combating desertification.
