As the Saudi Arabia Supply Chain Manager, you’ll work closely with commercial team, regulatory, quality, finance & operations teams/departments, as well as third party logistics, cluster, area & global colleagues in the EPD division.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with affiliate Leadership team to drive sales, growth and margin improvement
- Responsible for developing and implementing country supply chain strategies supporting all financial, operational, quality and regulatory aspects
- Build up and maintain supply chain country strategic roadmap, ensure that processes meet and reflect EPD overall expectations
- Responsible for implementing all Supply Chain planning policies: procedures and practices in the market.
- Responsible for driving supply chain effectiveness, with full accountability on E2E SC process.
- Key contributor in Biosimilars localization projects evaluation and implementation.
- Work with TPM leader on TPM selection, capacity reservation to ensure supply security.
- Partner with TPMs to ensure supply security while building a strong relationship with internal & external stakeholders.
- Monitor stock levels of APIs & bulk items at TPMs to avoid out-of-stock situations and ensure safety stocks are maintained.
- Regularly monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery of materials from APO to TPMs.
- Plan and optimize the monthly supply replenishment : Monthly planning of production orders & updating the replenishment plan on SAP, ensuring alignment with business objectives, demand forecast, and inventory strategies for all products (API, finished products & bulk items).
- Monitor demand changes to ensure supply plans are realistic, adequate and includes contingency plans in such a challenging environment.
- Supply Review and Communication: Lead the monthly supply review and share updates with concerned departments.
- Lead all communications with Planning Centers & supply planners as the main operating link with the Commercial Affiliate.
- Backorder Management: Weekly backorder reporting and follow-up with planners for BO resolution.
- Coordination with RA Department: on annual importation plans, special import permits, and artwork changes to ensure supply is uninterrupted.
- Tender business : Supply Planning to ensure timely deliveries under strict authorities, penalty risk.
- Ensure Safety-stocks are adequate to avoid stockout or expiries & align with concerned departments like Finance, Trade and Operations to meet cash flow goal.
- DI Management : Partner with commercial, Demand and finance teams on Distressed inventory forecasting and monitoring, mitigation of risks ex: communication of short dated stocks to mitigate write offs.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Manage inventory levels and stock reconciliations by ensuring system parameters are correctly set up.
- Acts as a key business partner with commercial team to ensure a cost effective & agile supply chain is maintained, ex: freight mode, warehousing, container utilization, discontinuation initiatives, change of source, MOQ revision, ….
- Support in monthly LBE achievement, proactively highlights risks & provide gap mitigation recommendations.
- Provide shipment plan to APO in M-1 to secure containers booking and align on risk/opportunities and Weekly Call alignment on progress.

Required Qualifications

•Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
•Excellent communication & leadership skills

This role is critical in ensuring the seamless coordination of production planning, warehousing, logistics, procurement coordination, customer service, import/export processes, and SAP system management. The incumbent will be responsible for developing robust processes, optimizing cost and service efficiency, and aligning supply chain operations with the broader business goals. This role demands a hands-on leader with a strong engineering background, deep understanding of ERP (particularly SAP), and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Define and drive the factory’s supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with production capacity, sales forecasts, and customer expectations.
- Develop and implement integrated supply chain systems and SOPs that enhance efficiency, reduce lead time, and minimize supply disruptions.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Production, Sales, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure synchronized operations.
- Own the demand planning, material planning and production planning process, ensuring material availability and balanced production loading.
- Oversee MPS (Master Production Schedule) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) with a clear focus on minimizing stockouts and overproduction.

- Manage the full supply chain module suite in SAP including Materials Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, and Sales & Distribution.

Role Summary: Lead and manage the site supply chain team to deliver site-operational objectives and provide
outstanding supply chain service levels on quality and delivery whilst achieving lowest total cost of
acquisition for direct material, indirect goods and services, and logistics. Be an integral part of site management team, representing strategies and objectives of Global Supply Chain team (GSC). Drive deployment of supply chain processes and resource development while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Site Annual spend of approximately $XXM USD for direct material, $M USD for logistics and XM USD for indirect, excluding capital.
- Manage the team of Buyers who are responsible for acting on order suggestions (requisition or other) and exception messages generated by MRP system.
- Manage the team of Logistics Analysts who are responsible for handling the daily logistics movements for incoming goods to the site.
- In collaboration with the Global Supplier Performance Group, manage supplier performance (on-time delivery and quality) for site specific deliveries/suppliers.
- Track and improve site supply chain KPIs vs those defined by the Platform Supply Chain Director/Global Supply Chain.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives aligned with GSC strategies to meet annual operating plan (AOP) and long-term business objectives.
- Manage, minimize / eliminate supplier inflation/price increase request(s) and escalate to appropriate Global Supply Chain team for further leverage accordingly.
- Support site PWC objectives by leveraging inventory management opportunities and supplier payment terms (examples: Make vs. Buy strategy / Supplier Managed Inventory programs / Net 60 days as minimum supplier pay term).
- In coordination with the respective teams within the Global Supply Chain, ensure utilization of strategic tools and processes to achieve objectives of improved on-time delivery and quality and reduced cycle times and total cost of acquisition:
