We are looking for a middle school math teacher, who will be part of a dynamic and highly successful ASD middle school team. The position carries responsibility for teaching math to middle school students.

Position Duties

The successful candidate will be able to effectively:

  • Demonstrate commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly defined and documented curriculum.
  • Deliver an active, hands-on, and student-centered program to promote learning in mathematics courses for middle school students.

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with major/minor in mathematics.

**PreK-12 Schools**:
After PreK and Kindergarten, there are separate boys and girls schools at each level as follows: Lower Primary (Grades 1 to 3), Upper Primary (Grades 4 to 6); Middle School (Grades 7 and 8), and Senior School (Grades 9 to 12) - collectively described as Misk Schools.

Small class sizes with a maximum of 15 students ensure that every student benefits from a personalised timetable designed to maximise his or her unique potential. Currently, student numbers sit at just under 600 up to Grade 11. Enrolment will rise progressively to 1,020.
