**Job Summary**
To plan, direct and implement merchandising strategies and programs to support the sales team achieve or exceed the sales objectives across the GCC. Furthermore, ensuring strategy, execution KPIs and transforming sales strategy to Merchandising strategy across sales areas in KSA and GCC while providing leadership to the Regional Merchandising Managers.
**Responsibilities**

- Direct the activities of the Merchandising team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic sales management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
- Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to NADEC’s vision, mission, values, and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team, and continuously improve performance.
**_Budgeting_**
- Develop, submit and upon approval, implement the Merchandising budget, monitoring its accurate execution, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and proposing corrective actions in case of deviations, in order to ensure compliance with pre-set targets.
**_Core Accountabilities_**
- Develop and implement the merchandising strategy in alignment with Sales and Trade Marketing activities to deliver on-time and accurate merchandising of products to achieve sales objectives.
- Review work plans for Regional Merchandising activities and improve the overall efficiency and productivity of the merchandising teams.
- Align with Sales teams and the Channel development department at regional levels to ensure merchandising execution is continuously aligned with the sales agenda.
- Create and organize promotional advertising and activation plans in collaboration with trade marketing and brand managers, to the execution across all sales channels.
- Review Merchandising performance results against plans or any unsatisfactory performance and identify any potential performance improvement opportunities in order to enhance NADEC Merchandising activities.
- Plan, monitor, and conduct an analysis of customer information across all dimensions such as products purchased, volume purchase, demographic profiles, usage patterns, and traffic distribution to analyze client activities and preferences and implement service enhancements to contribute to client satisfaction.
- Collect information within channels to reveal trends and actions taken by competitors to analyze the impact on NADEC and plan the actions for regional teams.
- Develop and distribute quarterly go-to-market plans and implement standard operating procedures for all merchandising processes for in-store promotions. Accordingly, analyze promotional activity’s achievement return on investment for sales revenue.
- Develop and implement a visual merchandising strategy which includes (creating Planograms & floor plans, POS), in addition to the usage of various Space Agreements so that space in retail stores is used optimally.
- Develop and conduct competitive market analysis research to analyze market trends and develop a promotion that meets the demand.
- Design and prepare Merchandising Materials, props, or kiosks for use at Points of Sale/Purchase to attract the customer’s attention and trigger impulse purchases by them or conduct in-store merchandising.
- Evaluate Regional Merchandising performance at retail stores with a view to determining their long-term growth and development or retention.
**Requirements**:
- Any Nationality. Saudis preferably.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required in Business, Sales & Marketing, or any related field.
- Master's Degree or professional certificate is preferred, MBA.
- 7-12 years relevant experience in FMCG, preferred +3 years in Merchandising Management

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Events Procurement:
- Lead procurement for marketing-related services across the region:
- Medical and scientific congresses (local & international)
- Promotional materials, branded merchandise, printing
- Creative, media buying, digital content, and communication agencies
- Ensure all marketing activities are fully compliant with JP codes of ethics and local regulations.
- Collaborate with brand, commercial, and medical teams to support campaign execution and event planning.
- Establishe operational and compliance frameworks, collaborating with the legal team to create a shared services model and delegation of authority structure.
- Develop a preferred supplier network with aim to reduce total cost of ownership, optimizing supplier performance and to improve sourcing effectiveness.
IT Procurement:
- Oversee sourcing and vendor management for:
- Software (licensing, renewals), IT infrastructure, cybersecurity
- Digital platforms, cloud solutions, and managed IT services
- Partner with IT Head to ensure procurement aligns with regional digital strategy and data protection laws.
- Drive vendor compliance and cost optimization initiatives.
Travel Procurement:
- Manage regional travel procurement including:
- Travel management companies, airlines, hotels, ground transport
- Booking platforms and corporate travel programs
- Ensure cost-effective travel policies and compliance with internal governance.
- Monitor vendor KPIs and traveler satisfaction metrics.
Cross-Category Procurement Leadership:
- Develop and implement regional category strategies across all covered areas.
- Run RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and renewals with local and regional vendors.
- Identify and execute opportunities for cost savings and vendor consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
- Provide regular reporting on spend, savings, supplier performance, and risk.
- Establish long-term agreements focused on cost control, quality improvements, and favorable payment terms
- Standardized procurement policies and procedures across the region, managing sourcing, negotiation, and contracting for goods and services.
- Oversee contract negotiations and prepare purchase orders for various projects, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and timely project execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement, with a strong focus on:
- Marketing procurement (events, media, promotional materials)
- IT procurement (software, hardware, services)
- Corporate travel sourcing
- Industry Experience: Preferably in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or FMCG.
Key Competencies:
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities
- Deep understanding of vendor and stakeholder management across multiple countries
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with pharma industry regulations (SFDA, EDA, DHA etc.)
- Regional experience and ability to work across cultures
- Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Ariba)
- Excellent communication and project management skills

About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Manager of Investment Planning to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead our investment planning initiatives, driving growth and maximizing returns for our program.
- Identify and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all potential assets within the program
- Analyze each asset to determine the most suitable investment model, leveraging studies and inputs provided by others
- Develop detailed investment plans that include potential revenue streams and return projections for each asset
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure investment plans are considered for upcoming tenders, concession models, and public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to validate asset data and assumptions used in financial planning
- Ensure investment models align with the overall program objectives and long-term financial sustainability
- Monitor and update asset investment strategies based on evolving data, market feedback, and stakeholder input
- Oversee the management of large-scale investment portfolios, ensuring optimal performance and risk mitigation
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling to inform investment decisions
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the organization's long-term financial vision
- Stay abreast of global market trends and economic indicators to identify investment opportunities
- Present investment recommendations and performance reports to executive management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and international best practices
- Cultivate relationships with key partners, financial institutions, and industry leaders
What do we need from you
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field and Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment planning or a related field Or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field and Minimum of 15 years of experience in investment planning or a related field
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification preferred
- Proven track record in managing large investment portfolios and achieving strong returns
- In-depth knowledge of global financial markets and investment strategies
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian financial regulations and market dynamics
- Experience in international markets, particularly in the Middle East
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and risk management
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software tools
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English and Arabic is mandatory
- Strategic thinker with a decisive approach to investment decision-making
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
