We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)
to join our IT team. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing SQL Server databases across multiple environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and top performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server clustering, Always-On, replication technologies, and extensive experience in large-scale corporate IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage
  SQL Server databases
  across development, test, and production environments.
• Install and configure
  SQL Server (2012 R2, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019)
  .
• Configure and manage
  failover clustering, Always-On, SAN replication, and HA/DR technologies
  .
• Troubleshoot
  SQL Server outages
  and performance issues, including after-hours support when required.
• Ensure
  database backups
  meet RPO and perform regular
  backup recovery tests
  to meet RTO.
• Configure SQL Server
  monitoring tools
  to proactively detect issues.
• Monitor and maintain
  database health, performance, and security
  .
• Optimize
  queries, stored procedures, and indexes
  for maximum efficiency.
• Automate and refine regular DBA tasks, documenting processes and changes.
• Support developers in
  query tuning and performance optimization

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
  , IT, or related field
  (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of professional experience
  in database administration within mid to large corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of
  SQL Server clustering, Always-On, and replication (mirroring, log shipping, transactional, merge, snapshot)
  .
• Experience with
  SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, T-SQL, stored procedures
  , and
  query tuning
  .
• Expertise in
  backup and recovery strategies
  , disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Hands-on experience with
  Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure
  .
• Familiarity with
  Power BI and R
  is preferred.
• Experience with other DB platforms such as
