1. Diploma or BSc in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic or related field)
2. Certificate (preferable diploma) or equivalent experience in low voltage circuits
3. 4 years experience in repair role in the media, television broadcast industry (Proof of experience is essential with a list of the types and models of equipment that has been repaired by the candidate)
4. Knowledge and experience of broadcast operational practices in the Media Industry
5. Troubleshooting and component level repair of faulty video equipment such as VTRs, cameras and professional monitors of common brands (Sony, JVC, Canon) - Essential
6. Troubleshooting and mending of faulty broadcast equipment such as switchers, multiplexers, etc. - Bonus
7. Ability to work at high standard under pressure (sometimes extreme) and meet tight and often unrealistic deadlines
8. High standard and attention to details
9. Good understanding of commercial, financial and contractual matters
10. Ability to use diagnosis and repair equipment
11. Excellent soldering ability
12. Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels
13. Self-motivated and enthusiastic
14. Fluent in English (spoken and written)
15. Excellent Presentation & Communication skills

Job Specification

1. Travel within Saudi Arabia (Major Cities) and work outside hours
2. Troubleshoot faulty equipment and produce diagnosis reports
3. Repair faulty broadcast equipment to customer satisfaction
4. Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment at workshop as well as on customer sites
5. Work with presales to identify risks in equipment choices
6. Ensure that workshop environment (equipment, setup, furniture, etc) is kept to a high standard

Repair Technician (Low Current Electronic Devices)

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Operation Manager

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of low-current electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other consumer electronics.
• Perform repair and restoration work on damaged or malfunctioning electronic components, including circuit boards, ESP32, Arduino Board, Sensors, CCTV, Access Control, connectors, and other internal parts.
• Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Test repaired devices to ensure they are functioning properly and meet quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all repair work, including the nature of the problem, the steps taken to resolve it, and the outcome.
• Provide customers with status updates on the progress of their repairs and communicate any issues or additional costs.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering replacement parts, and maintaining a well-stocked repair workshop.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.

Experience:

**Job Summary**
The Patriot Environmental Control Unit (ECU) & Generator Test & Repair Technician is a crucial role supporting the sustainment of Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems through expert testing, maintenance, and repair of power generators and Environmental Control Units (ECUs). The technician is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, isolating, and repairing faults to ensure these systems operate efficiently and reliably. This includes refurbishing generators and ECUs, conducting overhauls in compliance with operational standards, and ensuring all equipment meets performance requirements.
Using advanced testing and measuring equipment, as well as military and commercial multi-purpose tools, the technician performs diagnostic and repair tasks with precision. Charts and technical drawings are regularly utilized to guide maintenance and repair efforts, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications. In addition to these core responsibilities, the technician contributes to on-the-job training (OJT) initiatives, sharing expertise and supporting the professional growth of team members. Other related tasks within the field are also performed as required, further reinforcing the operational readiness of RSADF systems.
**What You Will Do**
+ Test, maintain and repair Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) power generators and Environmental Control Units (ECUs).
+ Identify, troubleshoot, isolate, and repair faults as required.
+ Refurbish generators and ECs for the equipment and ensure overhaul is per operating standards.
+ Read charts and technical drawings.
+ Use testing and measuring equipment and devices and military and commercial multi-purpose tools.
+ Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when needed
+ Perform other required work in the same field.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Associate degree in Electrical Machines or Cooling or Engines from an accredited foreign or local college or institute.
+ A minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
