Job Description
- Ultimately, you will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future expatriate staffing needs;
- Developing and executing global sourcing strategies through the utilization of a variety of tools, including LinkedIn, the Company careers website, external job boards, networking events, conferences and talent mapping;
- Partnering with overseas subsidiary recruiting offices based in the UK, US, Singapore and India to target appropriate talent markets and implement regional/country-specific sourcing strategies, as required;
- Leverage existing and new sourcing strategies, methodologies and technologies to build talent pipelines for the Company;
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify the required competencies and skills and develop, in partnership with the recruitment teams, appropriate sourcing and attraction strategies;
- Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis on sourcing channels deployed to determine success rates and utilize such data to adjust sourcing strategies accordingly;
- Identify sourcing opportunities at industry conferences and events and develop appropriate marketing campaigns to target, and network with, top talent;
- Manage third-party suppliers to ensure delivery against assigned recruitment requirements as appropriate and identify new third-party suppliers who can enhance sourcing and talent pipelines;
- Conduct talent mapping either in-house or using external third-party vendors to assess global and country-specific talent supply and demand and use such data to drive appropriate strategic sourcing;
- Mentor and develop young local talent.
**What you need to bring**
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a sourcing specialist in an international talent acquisition/recruitment function (gained in-house and/or in external consultancy);
- Proven experience in developing and executing complex global sourcing strategies utilizing the latest and most effective methodologies and technologies;
- Deep knowledge of contemporary talent sourcing principles and a proven track record in the utilization of talent sourcing tools and channels;
- Experience in sourcing within the Oil and Gas industry or analogous industry sectors, ideally with current or prior professional exposure to the Arabian Gulf/Middle East region is desired;
- Strong communication skills and ability to build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders;
- A proven ability to manage multiple and competing stakeholder requirements;
- Solid commercial acumen with advanced negotiation skills;
- Strong integrity, honesty and ethics.

Responsibilities
Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Establish and drive sourcing strategies in alignment with business leadership for all LOB of Building Automation as per AOP and strategic plan. To drive the strategies in the region to mitigate the supply chain risk and promote the local supply chain model.
You will have BA META level sourcing responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost for your business under BTS or mfg. model, reduced Working capital via negotiation planning and execution, sourcing from high growth regions, value engineering and sole/ single source elimination. You will manage supplier performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies as per local laws and procedures, export /import regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and execute annual and strategic plan with supporting strategies. Clear cut sourcing actions as per business STRAP.
- New vendor development/evaluation for various BTS products like Security camera, PAVA, Valves, Circuit protection, Fire suppression system etc.
- To explore and develop new supplier in the region/globally for various commodities like plastics, metals, electronics ( PCBA ), electrical and packaging etc.
- Strong in project management specially localization and new Buy to sell product introduction.
- Working closely in a diverse culture with CFT ( ISC, engineering, finance, sales, marketing ) to execute various strategic initiatives in the region.
- To explore the supplier globally based on the BCC (best cost country) and establish the supply chain to meet the regional requirement
- Localization of various parts/products to meet the cost, Quality, WC and overall Lead time requirement.
- Formulate the sourcing strategies as per local law which are more productive for the business and deploy the same to grow the top/bottom line in the region.
- New product introduction ( Buy to Sell ) in alignment with business to grow the revenue in the region.
- Part/product cost based on the should cost analysis and to implement the right cost model after comparing the end-to-end cost modeling.
- First time right and fast execution of sourcing strategies to align with business growth and new product introductions.
- Manage site category and commodity strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis and global technology / economic trends
- Develop supplier strategies to mitigate the potential supply chain risk like, dual sourcing, consolidation, and plan for every supplier ( growth/maintain/exit )
- Drive actions along with other regional teams to improve OTFP, WC through VMI and AWPOT improvement with 3 rd party vendors.
- To ensure and deploy defined sourcing compliance guidelines to meet all the key metrics ( OTFP, Gross and net savings, dual sourcing, VMI, PPM and AWPOT )
- Work closely with global GBE leaders to drive the key metrics weekly and on monthly basis to achieve and overdrive the AOP numbers.
- Vendor strategic contact to mitigate the potential business risk.
- Work with global team to discuss and freeze AOP for next year for various sourcing metrics.
- Publication of dashboard for all sourcing metrics on monthly basis with clear cut actions and RCCA for any AOP miss.
- Working closely with regional finance to align monthly productivity numbers before publishing it.
- Develop a strong productivity funnel along with team to have strong YOY savings.
- Tracking of all key productivity projects health status and identifying the risk and improvement actions proactively to have higher say/do ratio.
YOU MUST HAVE
Candidate should be B.Tech with min. experience of 8~10 years in strategic sourcing space. Post-graduation ( MBA/M.Tech ) would be added advantage .
