This role sits within our Supply Chain Management team. The purpose of the role is to provide the procurement expertise for the design, supply, installation and commissioning activities for 11kV to 400kV substation and Offshore Wind Tenders and Projects.

This role is both tender and project focused, therefore working to defined budgetary objectives, achieving successful sourcing solutions and implementing them to the full satisfaction of all stakeholders are key to the success of this role. There is also a requirement to be striving for continuous improvement, implementation of standards and drive cost reduction.

What will you do?

  • Execute all Supply Chain Management (SCM) both Strategic Sourcing and Procurement activities in accordance with the SCM and company procedures
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers / subcontractors as per company procedures and SCM sourcing strategies
  • Coordinate with Tendering Department and Project execution team with regards to the Strategic Sourcing Activities.
  • Issue RFQs (Request for Quotations) using the Linxon Procurement platform (SAP Ariba)
  • Obtain / negotiate final prices, deliveries, commercial Terms and Conditions with Suppliers to ensure compliant technical and commercial bids are available.
  • Prepare price comparison tables along with a total cost overview (identifying and comparing foreign exchange rate influences, transportation costs, different payment terms, etc.)
  • Negotiate and prepare the Special Conditions of Purchase Orders and obtaining relevant approvals as per LOA (Levels Of Authority) protocols
  • Review of Order Acknowledgements from the Suppliers for compliance to the Terms of the Purchase Order
  • Managing the Purchase Orders for Main Equipment.
  • To follow Linxon code of conduct and ethics
  • Monitor compliance to health and safety as well as business ethics within operational work, contracts and negotiations
  • To strengthen Customer relationships through successful procurement solutions
  • To hold and participate in added value reviews, sourcing strategies and innovations

Experience, Education And Other Skills Required

  • Degree in Engineering with 15+ years’ experience in lieu of qualification
  • Electrical Engineer with 15+ years’ experience in lieu of qualification
  • Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution (11kV to 400kV) procurement activities
  • Knowledge of various industry standards Client working
  • Have a good working knowledge of international procurement frameworks
  • Oracle ERP System
  • To have implemented new processes / tools / software and mentored other team members
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
  • To come from a high pressured and project driven environment
  • Has built relationships effectively and can challenge the status quo
  • Effective communication at all levels
  • Strategic negotiator with strong commercial understanding
  • Team collaboration and be a team player
  • Highly focused on process improvement and controls
  • Frequent travel may be required inside and outside of the country

Responsibilities

Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Establish and drive sourcing strategies in alignment with business leadership for all LOB of Building Automation as per AOP and strategic plan. To drive the strategies in the region to mitigate the supply chain risk and promote the local supply chain model.

You will have BA META level sourcing responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost for your business under BTS or mfg. model, reduced Working capital via negotiation planning and execution, sourcing from high growth regions, value engineering and sole/ single source elimination. You will manage supplier performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies as per local laws and procedures, export /import regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute annual and strategic plan with supporting strategies. Clear cut sourcing actions as per business STRAP.
  • New vendor development/evaluation for various BTS products like Security camera, PAVA, Valves, Circuit protection, Fire suppression system etc.
  • To explore and develop new supplier in the region/globally for various commodities like plastics, metals, electronics ( PCBA ), electrical and packaging etc.
  • Strong in project management specially localization and new Buy to sell product introduction.
  • Working closely in a diverse culture with CFT ( ISC, engineering, finance, sales, marketing ) to execute various strategic initiatives in the region.
  • To explore the supplier globally based on the BCC (best cost country) and establish the supply chain to meet the regional requirement
  • Localization of various parts/products to meet the cost, Quality, WC and overall Lead time requirement.
  • Formulate the sourcing strategies as per local law which are more productive for the business and deploy the same to grow the top/bottom line in the region.
  • New product introduction ( Buy to Sell ) in alignment with business to grow the revenue in the region.
  • Part/product cost based on the should cost analysis and to implement the right cost model after comparing the end-to-end cost modeling.
  • First time right and fast execution of sourcing strategies to align with business growth and new product introductions.
  • Manage site category and commodity strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis and global technology / economic trends
  • Develop supplier strategies to mitigate the potential supply chain risk like, dual sourcing, consolidation, and plan for every supplier ( growth/maintain/exit )
  • Drive actions along with other regional teams to improve OTFP, WC through VMI and AWPOT improvement with 3 rd party vendors.
  • To ensure and deploy defined sourcing compliance guidelines to meet all the key metrics ( OTFP, Gross and net savings, dual sourcing, VMI, PPM and AWPOT )
  • Work closely with global GBE leaders to drive the key metrics weekly and on monthly basis to achieve and overdrive the AOP numbers.
  • Vendor strategic contact to mitigate the potential business risk.
  • Work with global team to discuss and freeze AOP for next year for various sourcing metrics.
  • Publication of dashboard for all sourcing metrics on monthly basis with clear cut actions and RCCA for any AOP miss.
  • Working closely with regional finance to align monthly productivity numbers before publishing it.
  • Develop a strong productivity funnel along with team to have strong YOY savings.
  • Tracking of all key productivity projects health status and identifying the risk and improvement actions proactively to have higher say/do ratio.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Candidate should be B.Tech with min. experience of 8~10 years in strategic sourcing space. Post-graduation ( MBA/M.Tech ) would be added advantage .

  • Strong exposure in SAP
  • Strong team player and ready to drive the sourcing metrics.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing being commodity expert for electronics and BTS products.
  • Competitor products idea in terms of their current supply chain, cost and future strategies.
  • Project Management and/or contract management experience
  • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
  • strong communication and negotiation skills to manage suppliers and influence internal stake holder to implement and create new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated strong business and financial acumen.
  • Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools etc.
  • Experience with six sigma and lean tools.
  • Soft skills power point and expertise in excel.

Establish and drive sourcing strategies in alignment with business leadership for all LOB of Building Automation as per AOP and strategic plan. To drive the strategies in the region to mitigate the supply chain risk and promote the local supply chain model.
You will have BA META level sourcing responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost for your business under BTS or mfg. model, reduced Working capital via negotiation planning and execution, sourcing from high growth regions, value engineering and sole/ single source elimination. You will manage supplier performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies as per local laws and procedures, export /import regulations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Drive and execute annual and strategic plan with supporting strategies. Clear cut sourcing actions as per business STRAP.
+ New vendor development/evaluation for various BTS products like Security camera, PAVA, Valves, Circuit protection, Fire suppression system etc.
+ To explore and develop new supplier in the region/globally for various commodities like plastics, metals, electronics ( PCBA ), electrical and packaging etc.
+ Strong in project management specially localization and new Buy to sell product introduction.
+ Working closely in a diverse culture with CFT ( ISC, engineering, finance, sales, marketing ) to execute various strategic initiatives in the region.
+ To explore the supplier globally based on the BCC (best cost country) and establish the supply chain to meet the regional requirement
+ Localization of various parts/products to meet the cost, Quality, WC and overall Lead time requirement.
+ Formulate the sourcing strategies as per local law which are more productive for the business and deploy the same to grow the top/bottom line in the region.
+ New product introduction ( Buy to Sell ) in alignment with business to grow the revenue in the region.
+ Part/product cost based on the should cost analysis and to implement the right cost model after comparing the end-to-end cost modeling.
+ First time right and fast execution of sourcing strategies to align with business growth and new product introductions.
+ Manage site category and commodity strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis and global technology / economic trends
+ Develop supplier strategies to mitigate the potential supply chain risk like, dual sourcing, consolidation, and plan for every supplier ( growth/maintain/exit )
+ Drive actions along with other regional teams to improve OTFP, WC through VMI and AWPOT improvement with 3 rd party vendors.
+ To ensure and deploy defined sourcing compliance guidelines to meet all the key metrics ( OTFP, Gross and net savings, dual sourcing, VMI, PPM and AWPOT )
+ Work closely with global GBE leaders to drive the key metrics weekly and on monthly basis to achieve and overdrive the AOP numbers.
+ Vendor strategic contact to mitigate the potential business risk.
+ Work with global team to discuss and freeze AOP for next year for various sourcing metrics.
+ Publication of dashboard for all sourcing metrics on monthly basis with clear cut actions and RCCA for any AOP miss.
+ Working closely with regional finance to align monthly productivity numbers before publishing it.
+ Develop a strong productivity funnel along with team to have strong YOY savings.
+ Tracking of all key productivity projects health status and identifying the risk and improvement actions proactively to have higher say/do ratio.
YOU MUST HAVE
Candidate should be B.Tech with min. experience of 8~10 years in strategic sourcing space. Post-graduation ( MBA/M.Tech ) would be added advantage.

ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  1. Manages the overall operation, resources and organization of the SANAD Supply Chain-Rig Operations making business decisions supporting the organization’s overall business strategy.
  2. Manages and oversees Rig inventory control processes to ensure integrity (this includes the cycle count process).
  3. Ensure that Procurement and warehouse transactions (e.g. receiving, issuing, transfers and requisitions) are completed timely and accurately.
  4. Manages the Rig warehouse.
  5. Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities for SANAD Supply Chain.
  6. Collaborates with stakeholders, corporate and field locations as required to ensure total customer satisfaction within the SANAD functions.
  7. Work with different areas in the various department to implement and perform a receiving and issuing process that ensures all transactions are recorded properly.
  8. With yard personnel identify obsolete, slow-moving materials and visually organize warehouses.
  9. Manages Rig inventory and expenses.
  10. Develops and emphasizes a culture of Rig warehouse safety.
  11. Maintains required records and documents accurately.
  12. Conduct random physical inventory checks and report any findings.
  13. Continuous quest to improve the warehouse operations for SANAD.
  14. Initiates, coordinates and enforces warehouse operational policies and procedures.
  15. Understanding of supply chain activities and good warehousing practices.
  16. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
